Be interesting to see how those percentages translate into seats won. SNP will lose seats but maybe not quite as much as they would have now they have Swinney at the helm.

And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Under Swinneys previous leadership they had the worst results since 1999.

They had to call wee Eck back to sort it out, might be worth giving Nic a call.......... er mabee not.

Oh the independence minded parties aren`t going to have a good election, be it the one led by Swinney or the one led by Salmond, but I think the SNP will do better then they would have had done under Yousaf.

It`s worth remembering that the last time the SNP fought a Westminster general election without Sturgeon leading the party they only won six seats!

It wasn`t Sturgeon who got the 56 MPs but the work done before her. It`s all been downhill since then, well to be fair the baby box was her idea..oops just checked, no it wasn`t.

Hee haw. They`re a minority party in Westminster!

I can tell you how I benefited in Scotland from Scottish Government policies though. Paid nothing when I needed a prescription for an injury, received a load of free hours for the kids in nursery (saved an absolute fortune), have been paying half fairs to get to work for months now, and got seen at the Vic for an emergency within 3 hours of phoning NHS24 and got to park in the hospital for free too. The downside is I`m paying almost £100pm more than my colleagues in England but I like to think my extra tax is helping people who need the help. Sadly, it appears in Westminster the proposal is to take a portion of my tax money to cover the tax from OAPs pensions. I`ve nothing against pensioners but it feels like robbing Peter to pay Paul!
