Jeremy Corbyn is reportedly gearing up to launch a new political party in the New Year. Paperwork is expected to be filed with the Electoral Commission to register the party formally in the next few days.
The former Labour leader, who sits as an independent in the House of Commons, will mobilise the so-called ‘Independent Alliance’ grouping, currently six MPs, to mirror Reform UK`s rise on the right. Corbyn is looking to espouse and promote the traditional left-wing values barely visible in the politics of the governing Labour Party under Keir Starmer.
