I'm no techy but I believe it may have something to do with a very recent update to Chrome.

And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

I tried Chrome:
Version 67.0.3396.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)

it did an update to this:
Version 68.0.3440.75 (Official Build) (64-bit)

both versions seem to work for me on chrome,
are you able to show teh certificate information by clicking on the padlock
thanks for any help

It is one of many sites the browser will flag because they do not use HTTPS - the secure version of the web's underlying data transfer protocol.

ok, that is correct and good and what I would expect.

if you use http://dafc.co.uk then that will cause the 'error' or warning as reported.

however using https://dafc.co.uk will cause a good connection and show a green padlock.

DAFC.co.uk has an SSL certificate and everybody should be using https: for the browser address

as far as I was aware if you type in without 'https' you will autocatically be directed to the secure 'https' site.
if I undertsand you correctly this is not happening for you ?

I presume when you go to https://dafc.co.uk the website is correct ?
