 How do I post a link?

It used to be that I`d post the address and then put < before and a > at the end. That doesn`t work anymore.
I`m usually using chrome on an android device if that makes any difference.
LPF did give me instructions once on how to do it but I`ve forgotten.

And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

[ URL ] goes at the start....
[/ URL ] goes at the end.
No spaces.
To post an image it's the same only replace URL with IMG
