Every time I log on to the forum there’s an ad which requires me to put my phone into landscape mode. I have to press refresh several times before it disappears. Is there any way to stop this or will I go the loop de loop afore that happens?

On my iPhone I’m getting adverts appearing over most of the threads again.
I reported this some time ago and it was fixed but it’s back again. Can’t see 2/3 of every page.
The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity!

In the home page i am getting an underlying ad about illegal football streaming - its disrupting the whole page meaning you cant see thread titles
It isnt present once you actually open a specific thread.
It has only just appeared this last day or two - coincided with me cancelling my Premier Sports subscription - wondering if its somehow connevted?

I`ve just seen an illegal streaming ad, on my android phone.
seemed fine to me. it may be that they sorted the formatting.
I`m happy to see an advert that informs people that illegal streaming may be bad for your device, you just don`t know what hacks they may try and drop on your device.

Crikey. Ad for sky TV going carbon neutral makes the Prince Andrew thread close to unreadable. It can`t be closed. Mobile site accessed through android.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Yeah that`s them. Thing is with the Sky ones you can`t scroll past them. Had other ones, I think to do with illegal streaming and you can scroll past them no problem but not the Sky ones.

I forwarded the info and these specific ads have now been stopped (I guess until they resolve the problem)
keep me posted if you encounter any issues.
the advertising revenue is a bonus just now and helps teh club and group around the club.
so keep moaning ! (did I really say that ;o) )

I have add blocker on my iPad so don’t notice them, but was using my phone at 8:45 pm and the SKY add was there all consuming, have now stuck add blocker on my phone.

Were working on stopping such awkward adverts.
I`m going to put a story today or tomorrow about the adverts.
The money raised goes to support a wide variety of DAFC groups and projects.
Yes they can be a pain but raising some money is worth it.

Ads are still a nightmare. They completely take over forum topics and you have to refresh multiple times to clear them. I`m using the safari browser on an iPhone. The sky0 advert is by far the worst culprit.

Hi there. I`m a regular visitor but rarely post. The adverts are ruining my user experience via Android phone. Sky and Haagen Dasz ice cream are the worst culprits for me. Completely fill the screen and no way of clearing them without refreshing the page multiple times. While I understand that they bring in revenue, the way they are set up is completely ruining the user experience. Can they be toned down?

Use the app Dumpster, the adds don't interfere in any way. Best experience on a phone.
