 new passwords problem

I think there is a problem with sending emails via the new password request on website

I will investigate but may be this evenign before it gets resolved.

think I have sorted, but will check again.

seems like a server update caused an issue

I think its a couple weeks since it stopped working (oh dear!)

Could the server update have caused the reappearance of the `bad error` message (separate thread)?

no don`t think so.
I`m sure the bad error message is related to the cookies and checks for new messages. not sure whether clearing server cache or user cache works
