My late father had the same problem with his garden shed.
He bought some plastic guttering, drilled holes in it along it's length, inserted long screws into the holes.
Flipped it upside down and positioned it along the apex of his shed.
I however have no idea how he fixed the contraption to the shed.... But it did do the trick.
That's all I can say.
