Clyde Post Match Interviews

Highlights from interviews given by the managers John Brown and Jim McIntyre after the game against Clyde at EEP.


John Brown
Brown is dissapointed to have lost the game and is unhappy at losing a dubious penalty early in the second half, which he felt was indicitive of the referee`s performance. He does however credit his team with showing great amounts of effort but they didnt create enough chances towards the end of the game to get the equaliser. Clyde are trying to avoid the play-off places but with the next game against champions elect Hamilton they will have their work cut out to get anything for that game.


Jim McIntyre
Jim is not at all happy with his sides first half performance but after having a few words with the players at half-time he was pleased with the way the team turned it around. He also believes it was a definite penalty which created the opportunity to equalise from the penalty spot and he credits Stephen Glass with a good finish. Following the poor season Jim is very pleased that the club has managed to finish as high up the table as possible and avoid second round Scottish Cup tie next season. He takes time out to give praise to his old boss Gordon Chisholm at Queen of the South for his teams heroics at Hampden versus Aberdeen.
