So two Sutherland brothers, but only one Tod brother.
No Allan, Little, Jakubiak or Moffat - perhaps because they may be needed on Saturday (speculation on my part).
4-2 up at half-time with 2 each for the Sutherlands.

So we have the SutherlandBrothers but no quiver - for those of a certain age!

Any idea what formation we play?
Looking at the punctuation, do we try to mirror the first team?
So that would be something like
GK Mehmet
RCB Tod
CB Young
LCB Fenton
RWB Rennie
CM Rowe
CM McLeod
LWB Hoggan
Not sure about the front 3.

Does anyone know anything about the Sutherlands? Are they local lads? Taylor in particular seems to have an eye for goal.

The first half was hugely entertaining. Both teams were terrific in possession but neither of them could defend for toffee. The Sutherland brothers caused them loads of problems up front but when they attacked they often outnumbered our defenders. Both wing backs played with the emphasis on “wing” rather than “back “.
In the second half, the quality fell off a cliff for both teams.
Mehmet was beaten from a tight angle for their first goal but otherwise played really well, including one superb save in the first half.
£4.60 return on the train from Carlisle with my rail card. Bargain.

Wee eck, they are from Cowdenbeath or at least stay there. My son went about with them for a while a few years ago.

From the clubs Twitter
Today’s 4-2 reserve league win against Queen of the South, saw all @officialdafc outfield players and subs either come through, or are in the youth academy. Congrats to all players on securing 3 points thanks to ‘doubles’ from Jake and Taylor Sutherland.

Apart from Mehmet it doesn’t sound like anyone else will be back on Saturday which is disappointing. Wonder what Summers has done.

I heard from a “ reliable source “ that Summers’ absence last week was purely precautionary which would lead me to assume that he will be available this week.
No doubt there will be another unfortunate Friday injury this week……
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Don`t we have a free weekend after this one? That should give the injured players a chance of being available for Ayr at home on 21 October. Matty Todd can`t be far away from fitness now. It must be over 2 months since he had his op.

He`s not even been training fully so wouldn`t expect him back for a month or two

Summers `touch and go` according to the manager. They seem to have received conflicting opinions on his scan.
