Best bit of business this season - and that`s saying something! 👏

Good news but it doesn`t sound like he`ll be available for the Fife derby. According to COWS his specialist said he`d be out for 6 to 12 weeks and it`s only 7 weeks since he suffered his injury. He`s now hopping on it.

Excellent news, you can see how badly he was missed against Partick. One of the best captains we`ve had in a long time. You can tell he`s helped improve Breen massively as well, who is another massive loss at the moment.

The way the manager and the lads talk about him, he`s more than just a decent defender.
He`s a real leader in the dressing room, a massively positive influence. That cannot be underestimated.

Great news. As others have said he brings more to us than just his performances on the park. I can see him become a more permanent fixture off the park for us in the years ahead. Just the kind of individual that we want to represent the club and espouse it`s values.

Really pleased to have his leadership and continuity for a further couple years. Optimistic that his influence can be passed on to the likes of Breen, Fisher and Otoo so the squad remains in a strong place. Still a good player at this level so it seemed a no brainer from the club.
Hopefully we can get Josh Edwards signed up as well, although I suspect he`ll have a lot of interest come January from both the Premiership and England

If we can get to January still in a strong position for at least play offs, it might help persuade the likes of Edwards to a new deal.
Once we`ve got a full squad again, I fancy us against anyone, anywhere in this league.

so with the news yesterday....
out of contract at the end of the season:
Little, Fenton, Edwards, Allan, Jakubiak.
youths: Young, Rennie, Beagley, A.Tod, T.Sutherland.
loans end: Summers, Moffat. (Sharp - January)
they have said consistently they dont want massive or wholesale changes every summer and this is another move towards that.

From that lot, we need to get Andrew Tod, Taylor Sutherland, Josh Edwards and Sam Young signed up. Hopefully get the first two signed up on long term deals, they look like our best prospects in decades. Could be the end of the road for Little and Allan, I like the latter, but it might be time for him to move on to a club where he will be a regular starter
