After a very challenging but rewarding, time in Canada I am returning home. Arriving on 7th Dec with my son who will continue rehab in Scotland until the summer. It is mental freezing and dark here over the winter. I was scraping inches of snow off the car at 8am in -20° this morning. Soon to be -40. Looking fwd to getting back to EEP and getting much more involved with the DADSC.
I`ll take this time to thank all you guys who supported me financially at a very difficult time. Graeme jnr is making good progress thanks to all the folk who contributed to helping me be here since January.

A homing PARrot.
What will they think of next?
Will you manage the home match against Thistle on Dec 16th?
Canada is a magical place but there is no place like home, so like so many here, I am absolutetly buzzing you are flying back HOME.

Ill be home for that but I imagine there will be a lot of overtime at weekends and I need the cash. I sold everything including the house so starting again at 61 lol.
The experience with Jnr and with the guy I was bringing to matches before this all happened has fired me up to do some DADSC fundraising.

That`s fantastic news, PARrot, it will be great to have you back.
What you`ve been through puts into perspective just about everything that people on this little forum get aerated about.

Still a long way to go GG but we have a good map and stout boots. Lots of encouraging little steps are getting us there. The downside ishe will be away from his family for some time but needs must. He will progress more in Scotland over the coming months. The long dark days and extreme weather here could seriously hamper him and possibly set him back.
