1-1; Erin Cuthbert equalises from distance after a well-worked Belgium goal. Look like two well-matched sides.

Overall Scotland probably edged it but couldn`t find that elusive winning goal. We have some good young players coming through though. Big game against the Auld Enemy on Tuesday now.

Do the Scottish players have more chance of going to the Olympics if England beat them? Strange qualification process.

That`s the only chance they have. England have to win the group for GB to qualify!

Embarrassing performance from alleged international players but I don`t think we started with our strongest team.

The women`s team are ****, just shoot the ball over their heads towards goal and it will go in. Goal height should be lower than the mens by looks of it, keepers are far too small.

I`ve got to say, the england team is loaded with very unlikeable players, backed by an unlikeable commentary team. It was actually quite satisfying watching them on the pitch at the end hearing of the late Netherlands goal

I think they still go into a play off.
Edit. Folk on Radio Scotland at tea time were talking rubbish England are out, not going to Olympics.

Genuinely, what is she getting it for? Cheering after a few saves in a team that failed to win a competition?
Saying that, who else is up for the award this year? Tommy Fury? Lewis Hamilton? Ronnie O’Sullivan?

This thread really is embarrassing, celebrating a Scotland defeat because it means England (and Scotland) players won’t go to an Olympics.
I was at Hampden and it was painful. Supposedly the best fans in the world filing barely a third of the stadium and at least half of the crowd were from down south anyway.

Let`s be honest, with Caroline Weir injured who in the Scottish team would have made a GB squad? Only Kim Little and Caroline Weir made the last GB Olympics squad.

Was the crowd so surprising? Scotland were already relegated. Olympic qualification depending on this game was a farce really.
I said above the performance was embarrassing but the manager`s team selection was puzzling. When Thomas didn`t start I presumed she was injured but then she came on in the second half and caused a bit of trouble. Why switch goalies after McIver had done well in the previous two games? I expected Howard and Brown to start too but he still seemed to be experimenting when we really needed our strongest side out.

I think people are more celebrating a late Dutch goal to deny them going to the olympics….Team GB should never ever be a concept, period.
Also, nobody has ever claimed that the Scotland womens national team has the best fans in the world, so your hyperbole is solely on yourself on that one 👍🏻

The Scottish women have went backwards since completely bottling it against Argentina in the World Cup. It’s sad as I expected them to get better and begin to challenge the higher ranked teams but the smaller ranked teams have now caught up with us. Ireland knocking us out was an embarrassment. As much as I don’t think the full blame falls on him, I don’t see why the SFA awarded Losa an extension after winning a few friendlies.

The football played by the Scottish women’s team was just embarrassing last night. Even the basics taught at an early age were not there and that’s worrying tbh.
