We should send a copy to Chick Young and remind him that, despite Airdrie`s pretty football, it`s goals that count. Airdrie were top scorers in League 1 last season with 82 goals in 36 games but this season they are the only team in the Championship who haven`t scored an average of at least one goal per game.

I know they’re only highlights but I was really impressed with some of Joe Chalmers’ driving runs and perceptive passing. Also, Jakubiak looked very good - I think it’s unfair to criticise him for not scoring: none of his chances were easy ones and on another day he would have beaten the keeper. Some really scintillating play annd movement and, with returning players, things will only improve. Onwards and upwards.

It’s frustrating his lack of goals but to be fair he does create his own chances

Some great football and the whole team put in a big shift .. Chalmers covered a lot of ground and his passing was very good .. as was Jakubiak he could have had 3 yesterday .. once he scores and gains confidence then we have one hell of a player

Both our goals yesterday came from probably the oldest and simplest ploy in the game - get the ball close to the goal-line and cut it back which has the defenders facing their own goal which is opened up for the incoming attackers. We don`t achieve that often enough.

Not many teams do because everyone wants to play left sided wingers on the right and vice versa

Yeah, Raymie, and I think wing-backs, who are usually converted full-backs, don`t have the instinct to get to the line and tend to cross the ball from deep.

It drives me nuts, wee eck
Son got to the bye line twice tonight, little pull back and two Spurs goals. Simplicity

Jakubiak at least gets himself in good positions. From the highlights I thought Chalmers looked good. Although the quality of the highlights were poor. Looks like it was filmed on a mobile phone.

The quality of the highlights was fine for me, they’re always much better than the live output. The live version was like watching through fog and was hard to make out who was who on the pitch.

I`ve watched it on my phone and TV and the quality wasn`t good.

I know it`s perhaps not a priority, but would it help to have a fundraiser to give the ParsTV team better equipment, software etc? I`ve not used the live broadcast for a while but always find the highlights decent.
Did have a laugh at the clip of Todd being "delighted".

There was a question asking if the club was going to help them at the recent meeting but I don`t think help or feedback is ever greatly received.

Are you just fishing Canmy? You’re talking rubbish.
It was correctly stated that the club assist ParsTV at every opportunity. Help is always appreciated and reciprocated.

Missed this one but it looks like we played very well.
Any reason the highlights were so blurry? Felt like watching without my glasses on.

If you read my comment again I said it was raised but pars TV never seems to be happy with any offer of help or any feedback. There was an offer of help from a guy who still hasn`t heard back about helping them so he went elsewhere.

ParsTV are always looking for help and feedback always welcome.
there was someone who offfered to help but never heard back from them again.
there appeared to be a zoom/focus issue with the camnera on saturday, seemed tobe a bit slow to sharpen.
ParsTV is part of the club, the inference is its separate from the club.
getting new kit was a priority this season, has been purchased (used for home games) though we had an issue with it at the last home game (we think due to software update)
highlights are recorded on camera at 4K, the stream is usually at 1080p but at some games can be 720p. thats the limitations of connectivity and streaming to a wide varfiety of browsers, devices
