He looked reasonably decent for Falkirk, I was surprised they let him go

What`s happened since last season when he didn`t really impress when he was with Falkirk?

From memory he was electric in the first game at East End last year and gave Otoo a fairly tough time in the 2-2 game in Grangemouth, wasn`t at the other two games so can`t comment but McGlynn seemed to favour Oliver towards the end; maybe why he was released.

He caught my eye in the last game v Falkirk last season (one of the few I got to see live). I have no idea what he is like as a person. However, we need to be confident that any additions we make will have the right character and will help maintain the great team spirit our current squad has. We need to be sure any additions are not disruptive or bad influences (which clearly has been a problem for a number of previous managers).

Raymond "Boz" Burrell (1 August 1946 – 21 September 2006) was an English musician. Originally a vocalist and guitarist, Burrell is best known for being the vocalist and bassist of King Crimson from 1971 to 1972 and the original bassist of Bad Company, formed in 1973, with whom he stayed until 1982 before re-joining for a reunion of the original line-up during 1998 to 1999

It’s quite a big step up from league 1 to championship, even o’hara scoring goals in that league.
Feels like it’s been a while since we picked up someone from the lower leagues who is working their way up. Was turner the last one?

After seeing the performance of Bird last week, apart from the boxing, is English Conference a better source for players?
They probably earn more money down South!

I`ve heard rumours of East Fife striker Eddie Vedder and Stranraer goalie Jay Mascis. Grain of salt n all that though.
