Per the match preview on COWS Wighton will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury. Jakubiak and Todd are nearest to a return, possibly next week. KRH is doing non-contact training.

I hate the way injuries get discussed in the media. They are always so vague. I’m assuming that if Wighton is out for the season with a knee injury that it’s another ACL injury. If so, that will be his second one of his career with presumably a clean up operation in between. I wonder if it is the same knee?

Didn`t he have a knee injury last season but the medical advice was to play through it and that seemed to work?

Wighton has already had 2 ACL injuries on different knees and missed about 8 months of each seasons in recovery. Both were sustained in preseason games, one with Dundee and one with Hearts. Hopefully it is not another one.
