Just how good has Chris been throughout this season? For me he is already player of the season. Played out of position for most the season he has never stopped giving 100 percent. Maturity beyond his years and one of our own.

It`s been a strange season for him. Early on he wasn`t being picked and I remember in the League Cup tie at Albion Rovers he started as captain but was subbed early in the second half. He really came into his own as the injury crisis deepened and he took over as captain and marshalled the defence. He has a good `spring` and that knack of getting himself into the right position to frequently outjump taller opponents. He also seems to have reined in his passion a wee bit and avoided the bookings he attracted when he first got into the team. At the moment I would say he and Otoo were the leading candidates for Player of the Season.

Easily the front runner for player of the year with Otoo a clear 2nd but defo YPOTY.
Interestingly last night wasn`t Hamiltons best game. I.e the goal. But Otoo covered every blade of grass and was MOM.
If Otoo kicks on from here we will have one hell of a player.

Is it just me that thinks he gets an easy ride, at times, from fans? 🤔 lost Graham for goal last night, lost him again for 2nd goal that got ruled out as well.
Just my view obviously but do agree he isn’t playing in his best most natural position.

"Played out of position for most the season he has never stopped giving 100 percent"
he was a centre half at youth level and only moved in to midfield a couple of years ago.

Thought he was outstanding last night.
Don’t think he was in anyway at fault for first goal, neither was Mehmet. Hamilton moved out to play him offside and it was Fagan-Walcott who was at error for being on his heels and not moving out and leaving him onside.

Otoo would qualify for young player of the year would he not?

When I was watching the game last night I was thinking, how good could Otoo have been by now had we been able to play him in midfield all season.

I thought Hamilton was huge for us last night. Yes he was partly at fault for the goal but he`s not a defender and it was scored by arguably the best target man in the league.
Him and Otoo absolutely the players of the season.

Some leap for a wee guy. Council version of Cannavaro !
Agreed been our best player so far this season.

Hamilton has to win POTS this season. It’s a 2 horse race but he’s saved our bacon this year playing out of position.
His composure on the ball is very good and he wins so many headers he has no right too. Has great control too, goes without saying at this level but not all in our team have that.

You are getting there. Nearly managed it today. Looking forward to reading a post that contains no negatives.
You are correct about Chris though
