It was hard to see any contact on Kane for the penalty but he certainly dispatched it well. Chalmers was actually quite prominent early on, patrolling the right-hand side to accommodate Otoo on the left, and providing a right-footed cross for Kane`s header. MFW had the best chance to clear the ball before their goal but it was a comedy of errors. Overall, the highlights confirmed my view that a draw was a fair result.

Spot on re Fagan-Walcott at the goal Wee Eck.
The lad had a nightmare early in the first half and that seemed to shatter his confidence for the rest of the 90 minutes.
Chris Hamilton was a big miss throughout.
On seeing highlights it looks like a foul throw just before the Partick goal.
Great penalty by Kane
Onwards to next Saturday.

Quite a few dubious throw ins, yet Thistle fans were screaming for them when Josh took them second half!

Stonewall penalty. Great spot from an otherwise shocking referee

Brian - managed to get live stream yesterday for first time in 3 games. I’m in Sri Lanka so it confirms to me my problems are when I’m in UAE. Still in Sri Lanka next weekend so should get the next game too.

Maybe, kp, but It`s hard to be sure. The ref was in a better position than I was yesterday and even today watching the highlights. I think that`s our first penalty of the season so it was overdue!

Initially I thought it was a dive but there were very little protests from the Partick players, so assumed he must have been caught ?

Wee interchange involving Chalmers down the right wing early on was our best move of the first half and Chris Kane should have buried the header from a well paced right footed cross by Chalmers. Who said the guy was useless?

Agreed Raymie. Fitzpatrick has a right go at Muirhead right after so it must have been a genuine one. Kane doing what a good striker should do, being a niggly pain in the backside - just like Brian Graham, but not crossing the cheat line as much 😂

My problem with Chalmers is not what he does when he has the ball. It`s when the opposition have the ball. If you watch him, he very often marks space instead of picking up a man. You have to be able to do both sides of the game, especially in this competitive league.
