I know the CL is a total turn off for many Pars fans, but I usually make a point of watching the final. It would have been good to have had anybody but Real in the final. They`ve been European champions on 14 previous occasions and we don`t need them to add a 15th title, so I`m solidly behind the Dortmunder, who will be very much the underdogs. I think they have a few fans who regularly post on here, such as Big T and AAPS. I think Big T is going to be at the game. All the best, mate.
Not expecting a great game, as both teams like to defend in numbers and hit on the break, but hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

The last four finals have all been won 1-0 so I`m just hoping for some goals and if that means a solid win for Real so be it. I would though much rather see it being a high scoring game with Dortmund running out the winners and I have sneaky feeling they might. Dortmund perform at their best when they aren`t expected to win and the pressure isn`t on them. Twelve months ago they bottled it in spectacular fashion and gifted Bayern the league on the last day. I thought at the time that it would take them years to get over that epic fail but now they have a chance for redemption. That said I don`t know why I have a notion for a BVB win as attacking talent that Real have should really sway it for them.
By the way for Virgin Media customers the game is being shown on channel 524 TNT Sports for free.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Out here in Tenerife the support will be fully behind Real, going down to the pub to watch!

Dortmund would usually be the neutrals` choice, but the announcement a day or so ago that they`ve agreed a three year deal with an arms manufacturer has meant a lot of that support are now going to be shouting Hala Madrid instead
Bizarre timing tbh, massive PR own goal.

Hopefully Dortmund can neutralise Vinicius Junior. If they do they will have a great chance. I`ve only seen Dortmund play once and that was on British soil and they had a famous victory that night so here`s hoping for another one.

From the TV I don`t think I`ve seen an atmosphere like this at the new Wembley

Not a bad game, both teams attacking. Looks like there will be goals.

Dortmund have wasted a few chances and should be ahead at halftime. Real are going to win it 1-0 aren`t they?

I hope Big T isn`t behind one of those huge flags. He wouldn`t see a thing. Wonder how that works, unfurl a massive flag and wave it in front of 40 fans for the whole game. I would want my money back.

That would be 5 Champions League finals in a row to finish 1-0 if it happens.

As suspected Real punish Dortmund for their slackness at either end of the pitch. At least Gary Lineker will be happy.

We were fantastic for 70 minutes, but the chances missed were so costly. Why did Adeyemi go left instead of right when he was through on goal. So frustrating. You just knew what was gonna happen. The BVB fans were absolutely amazing, so loud and bouncing non stop. Had a great time, but wasn`t to be, unfortunately 😔

I don`t understand how that is an own goal.
Do countries not need to defend themselves.
Are there no threats out there?

I wanted BVB to win it and for 70 mins, their performance fully deserved that reward but a combination of poor finishing, outstanding goalkeeping and sheer bad luck meant there was almost an inevitability about the final outcome.

I watched from a bar in Crete, beside a load of Germans, not all Dortmund fans.
Arrived in the bar to see Lenny Kravic prancing and miming with a bunch of energetic dancers. I thought they’re on the wrong channel!
Disappointing game, very much 2 teams cancelling each other out, with Kloos and Vinicius making the difference. Just show you need at any level to take your chances. Sound familiar?
Well done Real, ok, they’ve so many Cups, a Rolls Royce of a club, Dortmund heads down after the effort and losing the 1st goal.
Highlight for me was half time. Berated by a very large German lady for daring to use the ladies toilet (the gents had a queue). I told her my club in Scotland had very good German owners, but no avail. Lost in translation..
Maybe asking “who won the war anyway” was a step too far?
German fans spilt, Dortmund fans disappointed, others pretty happy they were beat. Good to see local rivalries not put aside!

It was a sore one last night. BVB did everything right bar score when we should have especially the one on one as big T pointed out.
I was screaming at him to go right and not left!
It was a good performance overall but yet again Madrid showing why they are masters at winning this competition.

I doubted if Paco Gento`s near 60 year record of six Euro Cup/Champions League wins would ever be equalled - now Carjval and Modric enter that elite status.

Not sure that opinion is universally endorsed by all Pars fans - the jury is still out for more than a few.
