Sad to see former Pars player and St Mirren legend Billy Abercromby has passed away today at the age of 65. Only played 9 games for us back in 1989-90 season, but was introduced to a good Saints team by Alex Ferguson and led them to their famous Scottish Cup win in 1987

Sad news.
Way too young.
R.I.P.
Older fans wil mind that he made the headlines for all the wrong reasons back in the 1980s - 3 red cards in one game.

Rip Billy, he lived across the road from me on Porterfield in Comrie. My boys got his autograph at his door and later George O`Boyle when he moved in further up the road when he signed for the Pars.
