Saints 2nd looked a good couple of yards offside, lucky for them no VAR in place

2nd was defo offside, but to be fair they have thoroughly deserved this result, been by far the better team.

Yes, that second St. Mirren goal, James Mcfadden says " it`s a tight one". Tight one? Just shows how dodgy things are without VAR.

About five ex-Pars in the Killie squad and of course Shaun Rooney for St Mirren. All written off on here.

Either that or no one in the club can see potential in players and let them leave!!! I`m not really sure if any current or past players have looked on this forum and said, I`m leaving here as they think I`m p*** on .net

This St. Mirren team look not too bad at all, only beat us 1-0, I think, maybe we`re not so bad after all.

Bit do St Mirren have their own "Academy"?

Brilliant result for them. They and Dundee really surprised me last season

Shaun Rooney has gone on to have a great career after he left here, Scottish Cup Final hero and pumping tennis player Heather Watson.

When you look at players that have underperformed here in the last decade, there are many. I remember being at one of those meet the manager meetings at EEP when Stevie Crawford was in charge and he alluded to the theory that there was a club wide attitude problem when he came in, I wonder if that is still true yet. I`d say we have had 20 years of underperformance.

Yep, pound for pound we have the worst record in Scottish football in the last 15 years if you were to look at it from a size of club perspective.

After watching that St Mirren performance we are light years away from the Premier league and Europe.
What a difference a really good manager and well run club can make.

I don’t think that’s even close to being true. Rangers, Dundee United, Falkirk would all be below us.

Seeing these clubs in Europe and ICT, ST Johnstone and Ross County show, that folk are right to wonder what`s going on with Dunfermline. As aside saw St Mirren had fully striped stripes with red numbers, no blank spaces on the back of the shirt. Next year please Dunfermline.

I agree. If teams like that can stay in the SPL, occasionally win a cup and occasionally play in Europe, then why can’t we ?

Enjoyed watching that last night.
A right battling team the Buddies, and as for Tony Fitzpatrick never seen him before without his famous moustache, though I see he’s gained another chin or two!
