Tomorrow we begin the start of another potentially gruelling season watching the Pars (nothing newš¤£) and as the frustration builds towards our owners and board around the horrific league campaign, lack of signings and inability to sign a goalie it feels as though we are behind before weāve even started.
As scunnered as we all are we have what we have in terms of the squad and management team and no matter your opinion on the latter it looks highly unlikely that will change for a while yet. We need to stick together and support the team through this time and any anger that comes from the above or in terms of results should be directed at those in charge.
Expectations are incredibly low already and if things stay as they are scraping away from relegation is the best we can hope for imo and if thatās to happen those on the pitch and stands must stick together.

Think the shape is spot on. Iād like to think Sutherland gets a start but I feel heāll go for Wighton.
I still canāt believe weāre going into the opener with 1 keeper in the squad, I thought weād have someone on earlier in the week but weāre not 25 hours away from kick off and nothing at all.

What a ridiculous comment to make š we have just had our worst league cup performance in the easiest group we have ever been drawn in, have no back up goal keeper, a star striker who was due to play through the cup and has featured for 45 minutes and is OUT of todays game and fans are being fleeced good money for terrible, predictably boring tactics and resultsā¦ā¦
Nobody actually wants us to lose tomorrow. Fans are allowed to vent their frustrations at the situation, no matter what time of the season it is. To say they arenāt just makes you look like a fool. Imagine telling fans to go support someone else for actually giving a toss when the clubs in a dire position šš¤¦š»āāļø

The first game of the season, the supporters bus was 35 mins late collecting us from EEP, we made it here by the skin of our teeth; I got connected on the bus with my mobile, already inputted the page, no one telling me that the updates werenāt showing as I was too busy typing it all in the first half.
I go out of my way to make sure I can get to a ground, sit with the laptop on my knees and have to ask someone to get me a teamsheet which Iām also balancing. The phone disconnects from time to time because Iām doing a balancing act. I canāt tell if the updates arenāt going through unless someone tells me.
Iām doing all this in my spare time for the fans. So why donāt you just either shut up or offer to help.

Iāve been doing the updates for 17 years and can count on one hand how many times Iāve had a technical hitch.
Itās very rare I have technical problems with the updates and when I do I get them sorted pronto.

Second half has been terrible. Real drop off in intensity, no composure in possession or defensively. More injuries haven`t helped but rather than trying to change the sharpe it`s more round pegs and square holes. Dead ball delivery has been poor (pitch and wind won`t be helping) and every pass is behind or at the man instead of 5 yards ahead. We look as bad as we did when we went down previously and not as good a side as we were in League One. Fans not happy, players look like they`ve given up and a Derby day hammering on the cards next week if we replicate the second half performance. No doubt I`ll get slated by some for the negativity but I thought we actually did well in the first 45 and was hopeful we`d give the second half a good go. Buy this has has been grim. Pie was nice at least.

I donāt have anything to compare the game to as I didnāt take in the friendlies or the cup rounds - but I bumped into my brother and pal outside the stadium and he said the way we played in todayās second half was how we had been playing up til now.
I thought we did well in the first half too, fought for every ball and just kept going. I was surprised it was 0-0 at HT. Livvy were fast on the wing but were being stopped at our 18 yard line and just beyond.
Second half I just donāt get it. Like all the air had been taken out of us. A completely different team.
Not surprised at the fans who left early. After their second went in and then the missed penalty Iād had seen enough too. The team came over - as always - to thank the support.
Onwards to Falkirk next weekend and I hope weāre up for it.

Buffy, it was noted by a fair few and even people who knew Forfar players who had said how poor our fitness levels were in pre season. Perhaps this group currently only have 45 minutes in them before they run out of steam.
