Chris Kane back this weekend. Wonder how long he`ll play for? I`m thinking he`ll get 60 mins out of him max.
In the Courier that Matty Todd is back on the training pitch and scheduled to be back playing before September is out.

I`d expect Kane to be on the bench and get 20 minutes at the end .

Kane has had a 45 minute run out vs Spartans. Would be surprised if he starts.

Maybe an opportunity for Sutherland to put in a performance and further enhance his growing reputation. Sutherland deserved his starts against Forfar and Livingston based on his impressive substitute performances against Spartans and Cove but had poor games when he did start. McCann needs to score more and Wighton.... well. All I will say is that Wighton should have at least been on that penalty at the weekend.

I`d be very surprised if young Sutherland started. He has been most effective, whilst coming on as a sub.
I think this game calls for experience, whilst we are struggling for results.
It`s bloody tough being a legend

Can`t see Kane starting. 20 minutes at best if we are still in the game.

Really miss Todd given he’s the only one who attempts to support the strikers.
If even 80% fit we’ll go with Kane, there’s is no other goal threat in the team.

I think the expectancy in Matty Todd and Kane Ritchie-Hosler is too high and they both struggle to live up to it to be honest.

I didn’t get the hype last season that once we got Matty and Kane back we wil be a great team neither has really proved themselves at Championship level and like the rest of our team Kand is just an average player this season

no point in sugar coating anything is there.
The Truth is the truth. Nobody is saying they are bad players just unproven at this level thats all.

Despite the fact that Todd missed a huge proportion of the season and still managed to feature in two of the very, very few bright spots last season, Partick away and Dundee United at home, the latter in which Kane played a stormer as well. I get that things are bad just now but let`s not use it as a stick to beat everything and everyone with.

I do think their return offered a bit a of a temporary lift to the team. I only remember Dundee Utd as the standout performance from Ritchie-Hosler. Todd managed to bag a couple of goals on his return. I do wish KRH could it more often. We got a little snippet against Spartans.

Kane has never proved himself at this level? Is that cos he was he’s just spent the last decade in the league above that he’s no proven in our league?
What do you mean you’ve only done a cup double once? Ppfft bang average!

Started off as a post about Chris Kane but quickly moved on to slagging off KRH.

For the benefit of doubt, the topic was regarding our two players who have been out injured this season. Chris Kane and Matty Todd. This seasons situation was then likened to a similar situation last season when KRH and Todd returned from injury which is why KRH has ended up in the conversation. That ok with everyone. I hope so.
Not sure anyone is slagging KRH off. Everyone knows what he has on his day. Fact is he doesn`t deliver the goods often enough. It is worth considering how young he still is and his ability to influence games when we need him to. The same could be said for other players too.
