I fancied Kilmarnock to get a result when I seen Tromso were 13th in the Norwegian Eliteserien with over half a season played. It was St Mirren I had concerns about as SK Brann are 2nd in that league. Hearts and Hibs both got through this round last year before losing in the playoffs.

St. Mirren goalie keeping them in it. I wouldn’t put anyone off having a bet on Brann

Yeah. It`s All Brann
Raymie makes a good point about the amount of ex Pars at Killie. A fair number of former Dunfermline players in action in European competition tonight, pretty surprising considering how they played here, any of them would walk into our current first team
Shaun Rooney
Dan Armstrong
Lewis Mayo
Fraser Murray
Liam Polworth
Aiden Keena
Andy Ryan
Bruce Anderson

Bit naughty, never gave ball back from Brann puting it out for treatment and scored shortly afterwards.

I was never that impressed by Polworth when I seen him with us but I didn’t see us that much then. Only really managed to pick up the end of that season because of how my work was going. Hughes was already in by the time I started to make it to games.
I think it shows we’ve done well in highlighting good young talent but it also shows how much of a merry-go-round this level of football is. Most weeks there is an ex par or two in the opposition.

Joe Thomson also played for Larne - same team as Andy Ryan.
Decent player for us until his horror injury - never seemed to fully recover.
