Used to like walking away from EEP with Jimmy Shand belting out the Bluebell Polka..Last Saturday was bad enough from 3pm onwards followed by depressing silence when match finished. Could accordion music be re- instated ?

Honestly, I like the bluebell polka at the end of the game and I used to like the build up that would eventually end up with Into the Valley but that seems to have changed to the odd attempt at atrocious mix ups blasted out to loud to make out what it is or absolutely nothing at all.
Does anyone know what the goal celebration song is these days?
In the past i remember something from the Pet Shop Boys in the early 00’s?? Obviously Glad all over but I don’t hear anything anymore 🤷🏻♂️

We played bluebell polka at the end of my dad`s funeral. It will always be special to me. Win lose or draw it`s the song in your head on the way back to the car.

There was something about the Bluebell Polka that had you leaving EEP thinking a three nil home pasting wasn’t the end of the world !!

I have never liked the "goal celebration" song - it`s always struck me as an affectation. The natural sound of Pars fans cheering loudly is infinitely preferable.
The Bluebell Polka is another matter altogether—a tradition that binds the old with the new, the past with the present. Generations of Pars fans can relate to hearing that tune as we exit the ground at the end of a game. It`s in the club`s DNA.

I`m delighted to read that i`m not the only one who misses the tradition that is the Bluebell Polka.
I know it`s laughable but it really is a big deal to me, walking away from EEP with it playing in the background, it`s as traditional as the team playing in Black & White.
Hopefully it`s back on the playlist soon as it`s clearly missed by a good number of people

I’m so confused re BBP - it’s been played at every game, and was on on Saturday too. Definitely quieter than pre match, so wonder if the volume reduction v pre match is meaning it’s not heard in the older sections of the ground. NW and Main stand are dated and as a result, it’ll be cranked up pre match to be sure the main stand gets sound. Post match, reduced volume might mitigate it being heard there. Definitely coming through family speakers in Norrie.
