I`m making the long trip down the road from the Broch for the game today. Only my second game of the season. As always, I will be travelling in hope rather than expectation.
In fact, the only time I can remember travelling in expectation to the footy was on the long walk from the West Canteen to watch the mighty, all conquering G-Berth Strollers (now there`s a blast from the past).
A wee pre-match beer in the Commercial with my mate to look forward to as well.
I`m looking forward to the game. Hopeful that the gradual upturn in performance continues and we can finally get back-to-back wins. It would be nice to start looking up the league table instead of worrying about the trapdoor below us. It won`t be easy today. Partick are a decent outfit with some very useful players. If we play on the front foot, as we have seen recently, we stand a very good chance of getting something from the game.
Whatever the result though, I know that once I`m back in the car on the way up the road, I`ll be thinking about what game I can get to next.

 Always a Par

Hopefully it’s more like Livvy and Raith game than Morton or Falkirk

 Superb JD.

Back in the late 90’s throughout the 00’s, I used to travel up from Portsmouth and you can’t beat the excitement and the anticipation mate.

 Have a great trip 🇾🇪
