you don’t judge a game of football on how many goals are scored or clear-cut chances.
He’s completely lost the plot, spouting absolute nonsense like this

He spent more time speaking about the ref, who was terrible. A nice distraction from talking about a terrible game.

Dandy, look at that bench today. There’s been plenty of investment in that team and this is the best he can get out of them?

The brother in law is good friends with Allan Preston, whilst sat in Preston`s company it was made pretty clear McPake got nowhere near his intended targets.
That`s not to say I`m a fan of McPake or the boring way he has us play but I think there`s some merit to the German`s letting him down on the transfer front.
The investment, be honest, was panic induced.

We just won a 5 goal thriller and with a good performance to go with it and still there is negativity

On Radio Scotland a few weeks ago Allan Preston said, in his capacity as an agent, that McPake wasn`t able to sign his main targets because his budget was frozen.

McPakes been under a lot of pressure this season, we’re not out the woods by any means but he’s sticking by the team & the players.
I’ll back him.

But who were mcpakes main targets? More players like o’hallaran? Wotherspoon who has come at least a year too late?

In our last 5 games we`ve won two cup ties and the two `must win` league games of the three we`ve played. It would have been nice to have won them in style playing flowing, expansive football but before these games we probably would have settled for the outcomes we achieved. The manager deserves some credit for that.

But he spent all the previous summer holding out for Wotherspoon so I’d imagine he was a main target again.
Point I’m making is that mcpakes judgment of a player has been poor, if he was hampered in market it still doesn’t explain players he’s given extensions too.
No guarantee they would have been any better then those he has spent more
Money on that now mostly fill the bench every week.
Preston could be mcpakes mate who’s trying to save his buddy’s reputation. When mcpake goes for his next interview I’d imagine the line will be new owners at Dunfermline wanted their own man rather than the terrible results and product on the pitch got me sacked.
We just don’t know bar the evidence we see, it’s not been good enough.

Surely lots of managers don’t get who they want in the Championship. It’s not unique to the Pars.
The issue is we have a lot of good players who are underperforming. It’s JMcP job to get the best potential out of the squad and it’s not happening!

He constantly picks the wrong team. We only start playing when he brings on the players who should have started the game. He still can`t stop losing goals from set pieces with 2 ex centre halfs coaching. It will be criminal if Mcpake is allowed to spend any budget we give him in January either on new signings or offering new deals. A big majority of this squad will never play championship football again.
c'mon the pars

Thriller? Good performance? Wow! That made me laugh. The only bit you got right was there were 5 goals.
