I thought that the keeper was excellent yesterday, especially that sliding save at the feet of the striker, that`s the game saver for me.

Previous incumbents we would either be 1 down via the attack or resultant penalty.

Seeing the celebrations after the goals, especially the first one where Wotherspoon joins in, it`s pretty obvious there`s a good team spirit in the squad. I haven`t seen evidence to suggest the manager has `lost the dressing room` as has been suggested on here.

I also don`t see any evidence that McPake is a `broken man`, `treading water` or `going through the motions` as he`s often characterised. He seems genuinely enthused about the group of players, in particular the ones who have progressed through the club academy.

Anyone behind the goal for Otoo`s strike? Curious to know just how close it was.

It rippled the side netting, so could only have been a ball width wide ?

He really should have scored there.

Assuming his contract at Celtic is not renewed, I really hope a deal can be put together to keep Tobi at the club. He’s a fantastic keeper who’ll have a big future in the game.

I would think there will be better placed suitors than us unfortunately, fingers crossed though.

It was close. Just wrong side of the post into the side net

Honestly, if a Scottish premier league side doesn’t pick him up (were he to leave Celtic) then I’d be extremely surprised

He played well yesterday although probably could have been better positioned for their first goal. By the looks of it he was half way through coming for the cross and tries to get back which leads to him being more to the one side.

Yeah keeper was definitely at fault. Started coming for it, then stopped in no man’s land leaving acres of unguarded space at the far post. That said I can overlook the odd mistake because they’re rare and I think he’s the best keeper we’ve had for a long time.

I’d have said the scorer should never have won the header in the first place. Terrible marking.

Yeah, shocking goal to loose. We seem to have found the bug for giving up terrible goals this season.

This is at least the second year where we have consistently lost goals from set pieces. Might have though a centre half and sweeper as management team could sort it out .

You could well be right 🤔 I remember us shi77ing the bed at a couple of corners/free kicks last season but I think Xavier Benjamin was at fault for a couple… maybe even big Malachi 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe the squad not having the same injury issues as last season is highlighting it more for me.

It does make you wonder tho cos obviously there are individual errors involved but sometimes we just don’t look organised for that one set piece.

In summary tho - I agree with your comment 😂

I`ve tried to find a stat for how many goals we have conceded from set plays this year but there doesn`t seem to be one I have found. Although we do look more than suspect when trying to defend them.
