Does anything think that James mcpake has given up at all?. I reckon he knows or had a sniff he will be gone when new investors eventually come in. Could this lead to his poor approach to team selections and such because he actual doesn’t really have much to mange for at the moment for pars.

Have you seen his interviews over the past 2 months? Same old crap.
The players are probably sick of his defensive style football. Training must be brutal week in/out.

He’s absolutely given up. No one with half a brain would keep him and let him sign more dross in Jan.
It’s a toxic mix when it comes to the players, they are clearly not good enough and quite a few will be thinking about what jobs they will have to do next season a new manager won’t change that.
Very few of these players have ever cut it at this level, it shouldn’t be a surprise they are not cutting it now.
The new manager will effectively be chief turd polisher until the summer.
Mcpake and Dave knew a lot of these players when they signed them or kept them, it’s those same players who have sunk his managerial career.

Just listen to the interviews after each game. We never done this. We now they are strong at that and never defended. It’s the same excuses every week. If he knows what we are not doing well then as a manager it’s his responsibility to tell the coaches what to work on.

James McPake has been giving for some time. We are just at the point where it’s past laughable.

Has McPake given up? I don’t think so as if he gets the team winning games his job would likely be safe with any new owner………….. at least for a while
I don’t know the criteria used to engage our managers but it seems to be way off the mark or at least the support (by the board) that is given to them
The rot that has been a constant feature of most years since 2013 has firmly set in again
The club has had so many year end mass clear outs (I’ve actually lost count) only to see good starting line-ups eventually fighting at the bottom of the league trying to avoid relegation by the end of the same season

James McPake does not need to give up, the players have downed tools. We have a better squad than most yet get pumped all but every game. Is there disruptive elements in the dressing room making the situation even worse? Wothespoon getting sent off today smacks of on purpose as he had just been yellow carded. Troubled times and a new broom required, let`s get rid of Trigger McPake and his dumdass excuses.

Wotherspoon the only player in midfield or attack today who has played consistently to at least championship level.
Some of these players haven’t downed tools, they just ain’t good enough not every league 1 player will make it in the championship.
Today we started 5 players out of 6 (not including the back 4) who have failed to
Produce at this level previously or this is the highest level they have ever played at. They can’t cut it.

Berkey is often criticised here, quite unjustifiably, in my view. He is frequently spot-on in his observations, and what he has to say now similarly rings true. There are management failings for sure, and he has to go, but the painful reality is that far too many of our players are not up to the task at hand.

2 terrible summers having a real effect now imo.
Pars fans really are short changed for the amount we put into the club.

I don’t think McPake has given up, if he had done then I think he wouldn’t have changed the starting 11 from last week, plus he was never away from the touchline today.
I think there’s a mix of players giving up or as Berkley quite rightly said, just not being good enough

You know when you hand in your notice at a job and you kind of just mentally quit at that point. You know you won’t be pulled up for mucking about. That’s what McPake sounds like now.
