The previous Rovers manager was on a bigger wage than Murray was... They needed to improve the initial offer, and add in an America release clause to get him in.

What do we refer to as big wages.. he was a coach at aberdeen so I think he will be on more going the the rovers as manager. I`m maybe wrong. I`m guessing tidser is part time at kelty (I`m maybe wrong) but would mean he would also have a full time job at the moment. Correct me if I`m wrong. So there would surely be issues regarding starting right away

I honestly dunno what a big wage is mate. Just going on what I`ve been told from someone at Raith.... Murray got a big rise when they extended his contract, and Collins was on more again.... What that`s like in relation to other jobs 🤷🏻.....
I would imagine that Tidser going from PT to us would be on less than McPake, while Robson coming down would want something decent. Altho, could be the longer contract to make up for a lesser wage....

If we overspend on some players` wages, surely that restricts what we have to pay a replacement manager in addition to paying off the sacked manager.

I`ve got to admit, the children on this site do make me laugh sometimes. All of this is just made up rubbish.
Wages in most industries I`ve been involved in don`t tend to be discussed between colleagues. Players wages tend to be an even more closely guarded secret as all players and staff at a club know that when knowledge that player A gets X more per week than player B, then team harmony is out the window.
Anyone who comes on here saying they know we have 3 players on 1.5k is a slavering attention seeker

I`d rather bring Bert Paton back. Sure, he`s an octogenarian but it`s worth a punt if his health is okay. I love that man.

KRH is on £2k a week according to some sources. I think thats a pretty solid estimation given he was roughly on double that at the Gers.

Buy Football Manager, look at the wages on there, tell me its wildly inaccurate, despite being possibly the most researched game in the world. The game is used by plenty of clubs to scout players, gets plenty of high potential players correct and is a lot more accurate than half the guff posted on here 😃

It was mentioned that Otoo and KRH both had to take a significant drop in wages to come from their respective U23/reserve/development teams at Celtic & Rangers so whilst none of us know specific figures i wouldnt expect those numbers to be a million miles off.

Therein lies the problem though. Someone mentions stuff like that and the next thing you know its being quoted as fact. I find it very hard to believe we are paying 100k a year to a young kid trying to make his way in the game.

Some absolute baffling stuff written in here!
I wonder how they can afford the new Audi and designer clothes while making £500 a week tbh
Gave up the Netflix and Starbucks coffee.

Buy Football Manager, look at the wages on there, tell me its wildly inaccurate, despite being possibly the most researched game in the world. The game is used by plenty of clubs to scout players, gets plenty of high potential players correct and is a lot more accurate than half the guff posted on here 😃
Out of curiosity what are the wages listed on Championship Manager for this current squad of players?

About this but there are also some higher/lower too I think. There isn’t a game this season so closest info would be FM24 for now - for which KRH was on £4k at Gers.

KRH earning double anyone else according to these figures. Certainly not deserving it on current form.

I`ll judge him on being played as a winger instead of whatever nonsense McPake was up to.
I don`t wanna go down like disco.

A player is worth what a club are willing to play them, so KRH deserves whatever he has agreed with the club. In my opinion, he is exactly the type of player the club should be looking to sign, develop & look to sell for a fee.
However, the boy has been hamstrung playing for a defensive-minded manager, whose assistant also spent his career as a defender. His injuries whilst at the club haven’t helped his progress. Injuries are something else I don’t think the previous manager managed well either. It will be interesting to see his performances under the next (hopefully attack-minded) manager.

Agree. Did KRH not supply the cross for the 3rd goal v F***kirk. Also the lad has learned how to play a defensive right back also. Let’s see how he copes in an attacking team

It’s like Matty Todd all over again - one good showing in 10 and he’s gods gift. He’s been played as a right winger plenty and never produced - Starks being a recent example.

Hard to do much when the other players don`t give you the ball. He was starting to do well in the away game at Falkirk and almost immediately after creating a chance for Wighton he was hooked. Bizarre man management.

He`s probably the same as most of our squad, a decent league 1 player who can`t make the step up.
c'mon the pars
