The ban on UK is only on Saturdays. It’s only been mentioned 284 times.

That cannot be the case, as during the weekend when we played against Partick Thistle, I paid to watch the match on Thistle TV without the use of a VPN.

Quite a few Ayr fans on Pie and Bovril not happy either. A shame as it seemed to have improved in recent months.

Not entirely sure how clubs at our level continue to get away with charging £14 for an awful stream.
It is far better than ours though!
thanks as usual Kelty, total exaggeration as per usual.
yes, there was a couple (minor) issues to start.
bit of audio echo looping, was sorted quickly.
black screen occuring few rimwa for a second or so, then sorted. this is caused by the HDMI cable from the camera to laptop. its a camera fault and we really require a new camera.
to balance up Kelty`s viewpoint, here is feedback from a trusted and reliable source

ParsTV picture and commentary came over very well. Could only nit pick camera a couple of times not following play! You shouldn’t get any stick for that production. Thank you
to be fair, the camera operator was trying to run some checks at times.

In what way was it an exaggeration? Three or four posters all complaining about poor audio, jittery video, camera not keeping up with play etc. Added to three or four folk on this very thread. I know you never like to accept criticism but when there are issues highlighted you never accept them. I even said in the original post that the service had improved! Folk pay good money for a service and they are well within their rights not to be happy with poor quality broadcasts. Nobody is expecting Sky or Amazon quality, and we all know they are volunteers but other clubs seem to manage just fine.

How do you get your money back for the stream. Nothing to do with the quality, just the fact that we’ve been utter gash for 45 minutes. That should have a health warning

If you are local and bitching about the quality of parstv, then get along to the game ,problem solved(unless medical ,work comitments/ or the wife stop you doing so)Peeeeeed of with people bursting the crown jewels of volunteers trying there best .Hey guess ,what . We know The big clubs charge under a 10er per game ,but we aint a big club with massive support ,you dont like it dont subscribe ,

I was watching in Malta as usual and it was good, dropped at the start of each half for seconds if that, if I remember.
The camera work for me was good, I don`t get the comments there, there seemed to be more replays than usual (quick also) which is an improvement, maybe because the actual game was a better game than normal, and there were actual chances to show?
I`m fine in pointing out negative areas, but I have to say (and I`ve been overseas for years) ParsTV is good to for me, I certainly appreciate it enormously!

So looking at this logically, if just one person is getting close to a perfect stream, then the output from parstv is fine and people experiencing issues must be to do with their hardware or internet connection or both ?

Am not trying to dodge the issue but need to understand why someone has an issue.
If hundreds of people are fine and a few report issues then generally we know it is ok. albeit the issues discussed above.
I got stick for asking what ones IP was, reason so we can check connection data.
Perhaps those users have a VPN that isn`t great? Yes I know on Tuesday they didn`t need a VPN.
We do say if a user has an issue to get into support, posting on a remote forum helps no one.
Apologies for harping on about it, but someone who does not use the system who continually berates it gets on my wick 😡🤣😵💫

I’m quite happy for you to check the logs on my account as I experienced jittering all through the game, No VPN and solid 70mbps download speed.
I did initially ask if anyone else was getting no sound, eventually swapped from Internet Explorer/Bing to Chrome and had no issue with sound after that. So that was an IE issue.

no problem, I`m not saying everybody was working, just that we need to look at why some seem to have issues.
if you go to ParsTV.co.uk and then use the support icon bottom right.
fill in some details, inclduing email and browser. We will look into it.
We have a new CDN and I`m wondering if that is an issues for the odd one or two.
we will aim to have Stream B on next game for you to verify that and let us know would be appreciated.
one thing that I should mention (on new CDN), is that on some browsers the Audio icon is disabled, and needs to be clicked to enable audio

That is brilliant, but completely understandable as people will identify you as the problem as you are identifiable yet there is a myriad of problems in a network connection, especially when it is outside your controllable domain. Maybe you should start a call centre from India and then people will really understand what support is……
BTW You do sound like Basil Faulty in email form. 😂 P.S. Don’t mention the war… 🤣

For a bit of balance, I`ve only used Pars TV maybe 10 times, but it has always been fine with me. I`d say we are pretty lucky having a good team of volunteers that give up their time to do this.
For those watching overseas I`m sure it must be better than when you all used to have to wait a couple of weeks to get last week`s Dunfermline Press shipped down under before you could find out the score from the match report

This continues to split opinion
I watched it via parsTV on Tuesday night. The screen dropped c.6 times (as Brian has explained a loose connection) for 2 seconds. Sound was great, replays were often and added to the enjoyment ... a few months ago there were none live and you waited till half time.
Speed was great no buffering etc.....
So my point to back up Brian is that unless the whole thing is made public when there is an issue (and it is with an announcement on the screen if it is parstv fault) .... all too often it is down to the certainty of the users connection. For example if I watch via duck duck go as I did on tuesday it was 5 stars from me. if I go via straight BT connection it can be patchy on occassion.
The bigger picture is volunteer v people paid by a club.
If you tap into a scottish premier league stream it is clear they are a 100% club backed and paid for service. ParsTV needs to have 100% DAFC backing so equipment and internet access is spot on. Loose connections etc would be inexcusable if it was funded fully including manpower by DAFC
I wouldn`t want to be a volunteer like Brian and take the flack they get from we viewers when they are doing their very best out of a love for the club, a passion for what they do and try to give a great experience for the end user.

It`s been ages since I`ve used ParsTV but don`t recall ever having any issues. However, I`m wondering if the new owners may benefit from investing in a fancier set up. If they`re looking to use AI to do analysis they`ll presumably need camera monitoring players across the whole stadium rather than from a single point.

It could also be local issues with virus checkers etc. - I had a terrible feed one time on a laptop, yet on my phone (using the same Wi-Fi connection as the laptop) was perfect. So many moving parts and factors to consider and troubleshoot on a case-by-case basis.
