We’ll see. I’m fairly certain it would have been paid for by the club, from the club’s bank account. Would be incredibly weird if it wasn’t. I don’t think the club sale is as imminent as you’re suggesting. Will be happy if I’m wrong, but I wouldn’t expect to hear anything for at least another week.

Now that it’s official, and I’m glad the saga has now at an end, welcome to the club.
On the face of it, I find it a bit of a strange appointment but one which I support.
When McPake was sacked, I said at the time that I really wanted the club to go for a manager to fit a mould rather than a name and that I hoped the mould was someone who gave the players freedom to play and who played attacking football and who wanted to win games by entertaining. Reports from Kelty fans would suggest that Tidser fits that.
He’s got a tough job on his hands, short term success is keeping us in the league, and although the squad looks big in numbers it’s thin on quality, but the last few games have shown us that if he can pull the players together and get a tune out of them, then we’ll pick up points against the best in the league.
Welcome to the club Tids, look forward to seeing where you can take us during your time here 🇾🇪

I`m glad we didn`t go for one of the usual suspects and this appointment might be construed as a bit left field. He is a young relatively inexperienced manager, but he has demonstrated some encouraging signs at Kelty so I am optimistic. It is however quite a step up, so I think it`s important not to put too much expectations on them, give them time to find their feet, hopefully in time to get us away from the drop zone. Welcome to the best team in Fife lads and wishing you the best of luck.

Good to see Tids in the door now. I`ve got a good feeling about this one.
Seems to have a steely determination about him. Has a plan on how we`re going to do things and is going to stick with it. Does also say that he`s not stupid enough to not mix things up in certain games though.
Sounds like player recruitment is underway already.

You mean like Terry Butcher, before the Hibs v Hamilton playoff final, 2nd leg at Easter Road. Having won the away leg 2-0, he must have been very confident his team would see the Accies off. So much so, in fact, that he told his players before the game that half of them would not be at Easter Road the following season.

From what I understood at the time it was worse than that GG, he actually told them in January after he took the job that they wouldn`t be there next season but then asked to help keep the club up because his reasoning was that it would make them more appealing to potential new employers if they helped achieve safety......

Oluwayemi (loan)
Comrie
Wighton
Chalmers
Hamilton
Breen
Wotherspoon
O`halloran
Cooper
Clay
Fogarty (loan)

Wouldn’t keep any of those players . Hamilton and Chalmers are absolutely murder .
Bet you waiting to moan about the lineup what a state to get yourself into before the game even starts.
I’m hardly in a state . I wouldn’t offer a contract to any of those players is what I am stating . No issue with todays line up

Wouldn’t lose sleep over any of them leaving. Keep Hamilton and comrie at an absolute push, but if we hav any aspirations of getting out of this league we need better.

I’d keep Comrie, Hammy & Cooper.
I can’t see them being available but if they had good seasons I’d also keep Foggarty and possibly Tobi.
Tobi’s got a mistake in him but he’s young, I think he could improve.
Feel sorry for Breen cos I think he could be a good defender. He’s certainly got potential

I’m hoping the new manager can get the best out of Wotherspoon. We badly need creativity.

Yes, he is, according to Transfermarkt anyway.
Mehmet
Fisher
Ngwenya
Benedictus
Richie Hosler
Todd
Otoo
McCann
Kane
There is also Taylor Sutherland, Andrew Tod and Young who it doesn`t give contract end date details but I think they have till 2026 as well

Wotherspoon has clear quality, he sees things other can`t l. Yesterday I lost count of the times he would move into space but was ignored and the ball went left through a tighter more difficult area. You could see his frustrations.
Will he save it? Save it??? He never bloody saw it! Like a bullet!
