Apart from that disastrous hiccup, we have been on very good form since McPake left.
That match aside, we do not look like relegation candidates.
I am pretty sure the tide has turned.

It was mostly tactical. The team was purely set up and forced into a style they weren’t prepared for. We tried to play it out from the back every single time and Airdrie quickly cottoned on and played a high press. We didn’t adjust or mix it up. Just blindly continued with it even after it cost us two goals in the first half.
Today the distribution was far more mixed, sometimes we played it short, other times we played it long up to McCann or Kane. This kept the rovers on their toes and stopped us being too predictable. We did get ourselves in trouble trying to play it out on two occasions in the first half but luckily the rovers weren’t clinical enough to punish us. We had a bit of luck today too, our first penalty, you often see those not noticed by the ref or waved away, the second goal we were fortunate.
Over the course of the piece today we deserved the win though, we controlled much of the game.
