Wasn’t sure we would get many takers for those on the fringes of the team so this is good news. Not sure how fit he is but if they can get something out of him then it might make the difference as they are in poor form and heading the wrong way in the table.

It should be interesting when Annan/Montrose/Stenny play each other!

``Wasn’t sure we would get many takers for those on the fringes of the team so this is good news.``
These guys did well in League a couple years ago, I would imagine they will attract interest from that level. There won`t be any takers in the championship though.
Clay, O`Halloran and Chalmers next I think.

Would we be keen to loan players to Championship clubs when our own status in that League is not guaranteed?

I doubt it we will loan to other Championship clubs, some teams got their fingers burnt with that before!
Having said that, not being nasty, but it will be like pre season with Paul Allen, none of these players will attract interest at this level.
It`s sad, Wighton and Chalmers are players I liked enough, but they will do well to remain full time after this season, the third tier seems to be the correct level now.
Breen simply needs to play a whole season without injury, and he might kick on (same for Allen actually) he`s still young, but Wighton (and Chalmers if he is loaned out) have had quite a few clubs now.

No doubting his ability, good football brain but never really came up with the goods on a consistent basis.
Always thought he would best playing as a 10 or off a target man but never a realistic option in the system we played.
Good luck to him, decent lad and was excellent with my young son at the EEP pre-season event.
Cannot see Clay going anywhere, if he has signed till end of season and moved up here at his age he be as well seeing it out and getting what he is due; i'd certainly be doing the same.
Mebude i think we may see moving on.
MOH i would have said yes a few weeks ago but he was decent coming on at Airdrie and did OK last night. Three players competiting for the right wing slot now with Stevens and KRH though.....
