Pretty fair summary from Tidser I thought. I like him.

Yes, as last week he`s quite open in naming players who might have done better. Last week it was Wotherspoon for not converting our best chance. this week it was Yeboa for not playing in McCann who was better placed to score. I find it quite refreshing to hear a coach pointing out these things without being nasty about it.

Crammed into ten minutes I thought we looked not too bad. Somebody missed a sitter from 2 yards but the camera was too far out to see what happened, ball could have hit one of the numerous divots.

That was a great chance we squandered at the beginning of the second half, about 3 mins 35 in. One of the young boys, not sure which, had poor technique with his left foot when the ball came to him with a clear shot on goal. If we can do better with these sort of chances things will start to look up.

It’s refreshing to watch a post match interview where you feel the manager might have been at the same game as you.
He’s identified very similar problems to what the fans have at least although they have been the same problems we’ve had all season so the new boys in midfield and upfront haven’t made an impact yet.
Ideally need Kane and comrie back on Tuesday and we might aswell put Taylor Clarke in if that’s the best wotherspoon can muster.
Genuinely don’t know how Tuesday will go, apart from it being tight will few goals.

Crikey, is that an element of self-doubt creeping into your final sentence, Berkey? You`re usually so sure of things. The manager will be chuffed you and he are in agreement.

Prob the same reason the bookies have no obv winner in the game either! It’s first goal the winner for me on Tuesday.
I’m happier we’re at least trying things with different personnel but the tactics are a bit rubbish just now and not everyone who arrived in January has been ready to play which is a shame.

It’s really tiring reading some of the posts. I was there yesterday and the first half was dire but the second half was better. We are a point closer to Hamilton and play them next. I’m a glass half full chap.

You’ve not understood my comment. It can only contribute nothing if you take nothing from it.
There was a recent thread about why people don’t post as often as they would like. My comment gives you the opportunity to self reflect, change and then contribute to a better a forum.

OK, so you took nothing from it. Others can judge for themselves. I don`t think I`ve read anything more pompous on here than your last sentence.

We are actually above Hamilton and played same number of games 🫢 a small glimmer of positivity

I meant we had gained a point, Dave.
Hamilton have picked up 3 points in 7 games. I think we can go into the game on Tuesday with a fair degree of confidence.

Gained a point but only by getting a home draw against a team Hamilton beat away just last week scoring 2 goals which seems a world away. After the next 2 games we have a hard run of 4 games which means you really want to be a few points ahead as Hamilton have Morton and airdrie while we’re on that run and will surely pick up points. A draw and a win in next 2 feels like the very least outcome.
Psychologically if there’s a winner on Tuesday they will take all the momentum.
Tuesday feels like the biggest league game for some time….

Tuesday is without a doubt our biggest game of the season to date. Win that and the Accies’ chins will be on the floor.

Oddly enough, I think we could take more from the difficult games. Their style of play might suit our new team.
I think the Pars TV guys must be very highly talented.
They managed to put 10 minutes together that showed plenty of chances created and no shortage of shots at goal.
Some of those blocked shots would have gone in on another day, and the forum would have been a different place. I saw plenty in these highlights to maintain my optimism.

Another attempt to antagonise somebody for no reason. Such a toxic poster. It must be joy to live with you.
