7 goals in 3 games against the top teams under Lanza John, but Tidser refuses to change his principles in how the game should be played.

Tidser is a division one manager at best who believes his own hype. This clown has somehow made us worse than the dross we were watching and is reluctant to change anything about he believes we should play. I for one are done and wonāt be back until Cook goes and takes tidser with him

While we have been scoring precisely zero goals in our last 5 games Airdrie have picked up 11 points in their last 5 league matches.

After Saturday`s boring Nil - Nil I expected a reaction tonight but It didn`t come from what I saw there is more life in a tramps vest than that lot playing tonight !
Absolutely horrific is being nice !
I take my hat off to those that made the effort tonight short changed again , so well done pity the team didn`t make even half the effort you all put in to get to the game to support them ! They do not deserve Loyal supporters like you

I`m the same. I work 50 plus hours a week and a Saturday is my one day to get away from it all. I`m coming home feeling down after watching this mess of a team. The club make changes but keep making the same mistakes.
Last night is the final straw for me. I need time away from it. It`s not just Tidser and his deluded football ideas. It the shambles we`ve become since administration. We appear to have become a yo-yo club between 2nd tier and 3rd tier. It`s completely unacceptable and gone on for far too long.

Thanks to the manflu and Brian getting the audio stream running , I managed to avoid going to the game last night. When was the last time this team turned up for a āmust winā fixture. I said before I would only be going to home games as I have the season ticket and talked myself to go to Airdrieā¦. The good thing is Raith is on the TV, so will not be going to that either. No more away games in the hope we turn up. Sad state of affairs really.

Where`s all the "sack the manager", " Mcfake must go", " Let`s just get some new faces in the door," specialists now. Were they not warned about changing horses in midstream. Were spectres of Grant and Hughes not mentioned as a warning. Now we all have to face a worse situation. Instead of flooding the team with so many untried new faces, maybe a good striking partnership was the answer. In our situation a new manager had to hit the ground running and it`s not working out that way so let`s all spit the dummies out now.

McFake left us with most of these players that are Division 1 standard , and his football was mince to watch , he`d have got us relegated .

Whatās the difference between Tidser style of play and what makes you think he isnāt going to relegate us?
Current football is mince too and weāre heading for bottom spot in the next few weeks.

I totally agree , Tidser is no better, and at this rate will relegate us, but Mcpake was just as bad , if not worse, resigning guys that got us relegated the season before.

He did last season when we were in a similar position and given the finances that have come with the new owners, I`d have given him a better chance than we have now.

Iād fancy our chances more with McPake in charge if heād been given time the chance to strengthen in January.
I can only see this getting worse.

Are there any managers out there that can get a bunch of blokes to play a game of football to the respective strengths they have? ā¦ or do they all reckon they have a system that will send shockwaves through the world of football, even if consists of playing Lionel Messi in goal and Craig Gordon up front?
I mean, second tier Scottish football? And, basically, we are pretty rubbishā¦ yet, Falkirk & Rovers are both playing fairly decent football and the former could manage back-to-back promotions ā¦ even after a season in League One, when we looked head and shoulders above them.
Seriously, wtf?
āFootball is a beautiful game,
It should be played beautifully.ā

Completely delusional. Is it the fans fault the board couldn`t pick out a manager if they tried?

Iāve no idea how it works but if the stats company is choosing available players does that mean that the role of a scout goes out the window? Or is it a joint venture?

The club placed a job advertisement for a scout in the Dundee, Perth and Kinross area this week so I`m guessing they are looking to increase scouts on the ground. I always felt we lacked in that area and you were more likely to see an East Fife or Alloa scout at games locally.

If you look at the loans and other deals that have been done in the Championship this window there are hardly any involving experienced players from a higher level. If these guys are fit and on form their clubs are going to hold on to them. The best deal has probably been Scott Arfield from Bolton to Falkirk but there was an emotional attachment there that made that possible.
