Quite simply, we lose that game today if Chris doesn’t come on.
Used all of his experience to get us up the pitch, win fouls, win challenges and of courses, two goals.
First was a real poacher’s goal after great work by Lewis
Second, he nudges the defender off the ball and then hits a terrific volley high into the net.
Well done, Chris. Have the rest of the week off

He`s a class player, didn`t see that one coming through!
The guy is so motivated too, a really good top flight player all the way, just his injuries.
I`m hoping the other forwards are picking up as much they can from him, these players don`t come often, and he won`t be around for ever.

His second goal reminded me of the chance he had at Aberdeen. And this time there was no mistake. He`s our best player by a mile.

We’re as close to a one man team as you can get. Really miss his intelligence and experience.
How can see eek a few more games out of him?

Unless he’s fit for all of our remaining games it’s likely we’ll finish 9th. No pressure Chris!

Irrespective of the number of games he plays or doesn`t play today, epitomises exactly why we need a Chris Kane in the team.
He is a talisman for this squad, and his cameo was really influential in McCann, too, who had a decent second half, and his work rate and effort to get the cross in for the first goal cannot be underestimated.
We move on.

Chris should do minimal training and just keep him for a Saturday from now to the end of the season
I thought McCann had a very good 30 minute spell in the second half.

Mccann when played up top in a front pair always seems to excel. Before Tidser got the job, he was playing up front in a pair and was brilliant.
I had mccann as my motm today
Will he save it? Save it??? He never bloody saw it! Like a bullet!

The tough games are coming up in March and it wouldn`t bother me if he was rested for a game or 2 to be fit for the April games as we need to be taking points out of almost all of them.

Paul McGrath vibes here. Wrap him in cotton wool and keep him for a weekend!
