Do I think Tidser is doing a good job? No. Do I think he`s entirely to blame? No. Players, especially the senior pros have to take a lot of responsibility. The board/owners/John Colquhoun need to take a lot of responsibility for bringing in a bunch of duds in the same way Falkirk did when they were relegated under Hartley. Don`t know why folk would be so delighted to post about how "right" they are and how "wrong" others have been when we should all be raging at how awful we were tonight tbh.

The loss of revenue from relegation will be bad enough, then you will have an additional loss of revenue when season ticket and merch sales plummet because nobody is interested in watching tidserball.
The owners will need to admit they got it wrong and pony up the cash to pay for their mistakes and they will. Either now, at the end of the season when we are relegated or when we are struggling in league one next autumn.
All things considered it’s better if they just do it now. It was a stupid appointment but they need to rectify it and make a better one. I get they are new to the Scottish game and all so you can cut them some slack. I actually point the finger at John Colquhoun and David cook, who really should have known better.

It will cost at least 1 million if we go down and remember that was with Falkirk in the league at the time so probably will be more. I`m not sure how much it will cost to get rid of the 2 halfwits we brought it but I`d assume it will not even be close to that figure.
That being said these so called players are an absolute embarrassment to the club and themselves. 2 crucial big games and the shat the bed bar Mullen who wasn`t even that good, everyone else was embarrassing. Considering there are contracts to play for I wouldn`t mind seeing any of this lot go. Mullen is the only one likely to go on to better things.

No one can defend McCann for that amatuer defending, it’s not the first time he’s defended like that and it won’t be the last, 150 games and he defends like it’s his debut. His half hearted effort and clear lack of ability shown through again last night.
One of those where you can trace our downturn in the quality of our football as a club to when he started getting into the 1st 11. Yogi put him in and we went down and it’s not improved since despite regular starts.
I’m sick to the back teeth of watching these same players every week who are simply not good enough and are making the same mistakes, it’s debatable whether the likes of McCann are even good enough for league 1.
The only positive from this season is it’s clear to all that this squad will be getting emptied in the summer. I don’t hold out much hope it will get better given the recruitment under the new owners has actually been worse than what we had, it’s been god awful. Stevens looks like a 7 a side player, boothe clearly lost the passion for the game and the rest look like they should be playing under 18’s football. Special mention for Otoo who looks like a donkey these days, can’t cut in this league I’m afraid.

If we were better da no 1 then McCann would be now where near our team. He’d have been moved onto Forfar or east fife long before now.
The standard of football on show has gone down to the level where players like McCann get a game and we wonder why we’re down the bottom of the league.

McPake moved plenty players on - Todorov, O`Hara, McDonald, Jakubiak, Allan I can think off. McCann is certainly inconsistent but he has contributed to some memorable moments which have been few and far between unfortunately. The constant scapegoating of him is distasteful but not uncommon on here unfortunately.
Certain players are periodically singled out for criticism when there seems to be a more general malaise about the club. Unlike other clubs who have suffered Administration we have been unable to restore our status to anything like it was in our best years. I`m not sure why that is. Maybe it merits a thread of its own.

Is that not just seeing the wood from the trees. I said on here we were in trouble at the start of the season and after every win I am asked if I am going to retract my statement of us being favourites for the drop.
Everyone could see we were sleepwalking into a relegation dog fight when we were slapped by the most favourable league cup group we could have asked for which also coat the club a few hundred thousand.
We mucked around before eventually sacking mcpake and chucked our eggs in the Tidser basket. We have been rotten all season and somehow managed to look worse under Tidser than we did mcpake.
We can`t keep on hiring terrible manager after terrible manager it doesn`t make good business sense or good football sense.
As far as calling fans out for asking for a new manager when the club was in 9th and no improvement forthcoming with players not good enough for this level was it really a bad shout? The club decided to go with Tidser and sign duds like yaboah and to be honest everyone apart from mullen has been a failure. That`s on the club and scouting system.
What we know now is this lot don`t have the bottle to get themselves out of the playoff places and to be perfectly honest I can`t see any other outcome than us going down as the players lack the ability and belief to survive the playoffs.

The German owners` inexplicable decision to freeze the playing budget early in the season was a big contributory factor in the poor start to the season in my opinion. I`m still not clear when this was communicated to McPake. Was it before or after he had committed to signing Kane and Wotherspoon?

I’m not pinning it all on McCann but he’s the best example. If we consistently reward poor performances with new contracts and game time there’s only one way it’s going to go.
Even though the budget was frozen I’d wager it was still pretty healthy compared to others in this league.
