I’ve never been in the Tidser camp and think his appointment was a mistake from the get go and not hid that fact at all.
Every fan I speak to at games that are around me all want him gone.
I’m just curious if there are any fans who actually want to keep him?
He’s done nothing but regress the team as a whole.

I don`t think there is any point in getting rid of him. We have signed absolute garbage to play alongside the existing garbage.

I’m sure someone will be along to make a case for him at some point, but it won’t be me.

I really don`t know tbh. The squad of players we have is so unbalanced, so full of pea-hearted cowards, so full of players who can`t do the basics, so lacking in urgency, confidence and drive, so slow in everything they do that I`m not convinced a new manager gets that much out of them. He was raging at the players last night and has said the players aren`t following instructions but that`s part of his job, making sure they do and dropping players who don`t. But if the players are genuinely not doing what they`re told, then would they do what a Murray or a Kettlewell or a whomever wanted them to do? Who knows? Whatever happens it can`t continue.

That’s a fair point about other managers not getting anything out the players either but surely as a manager when you see things aren’t working you change it up and play to your players strengths.
Bene for example is not a ball playing centre half and looks very uncomfortable playing this way.

Let us be honest; the players are adhering to the style of play dictated by Tidser and his team. The results he has delivered during his tenure thus far are simply not good enough. It is over for him! He has alienated both the fans and the players. While I recognise that we cannot continually compare our current situation to the three matches overseen by JM, we find ourselves drawn to that comparison. The transformation in the team under his stewardship was evident. There appeared to be a greater level of effort in those three games than we have witnessed throughout the entire season. It is time for him to depart, and I truly believe the club will terminate his contract. Tidser`s expression spoke volumes. I cannot recall a manager facing consecutive derby defeats. He will be gone come Monday evening.

As with any manager who comes in they deserve support, however Tidser has found a way to make that evaporate quickly. I don`t find him a likeable or endearing character at all and seemingly the players aren`t wanting to put a shift in for him either, they are clearly confused and uncomfortable with whatever they're being asked to do
He isn`t able to adapt or even get the basics right tactically. Puzzling team selections, questionable substitutions time and again, enforcing a style of football that the players aren`t capable of playing effectively. Without Chris Kane the team probably wouldn`t have scored a league goal under him.
He`s lost whatever support he did have with the fanbase and it appears the dressing room as well, the board should admit their mistake and cut ties now. Give it to McLaughlin to the end of the season and re-evaluate whatever process brought them to Tidser in the first place

That’s my feeling Ross, I’ll be shocked if he’s still in charge by the end of the weekend.
Your right regarding JMc, I know some fans, myself included would like to see him replace Tidser purely based on the facts that he got the team playing so well in the 2 games.
If another manager comes in and actually plays to our strengths then I’ve no doubt we’d get an uplift and get out this mess.
With 2 weeks until our next game this is the ideal time to be getting him out and someone else in.
I know for a fact Stuart Kettlewell has been at our last 3 matches, read into that what you will but someone like him could get us up the table and safe. Would also be a massive coup I realise but we can hope.

Was happy to give him a chance but he’s loosing me. I suspect he’s a coach who has no say in who gets signed and might even be getting told who to play.
He’s been done like a kipper with those January signings, if they were his idea he should be gone.
I don’t subscribe to Lanza John being great either, the relief that mcpake was gone and optimism was back along with it looking like it was a freak performance and result against Partick doesn’t mean he can make any difference. We were poor against Ayr under him too.
I can’t think of anyone who can turn this around now, the rot has set in and there is only Kane, bene and otoo who are likely to be here next season from that starting line up. Looking like a lost cause.

That’s the other thing Berkey, are we really going to trust Tidser with rebuilding the squad in the summer? It gives me the fear.

Will he be gone by Monday night???? Club is notorious slow at making decisions. Imagine he will still be here until the end of the season leading us down into league one. He is the worst manager to be appointed in my lifetime, possibly eclipsing Jocky Scott.
I won’t be back this season, ram the season ticket next season. 42 years and that’s me checking out now. Better things to do with my cash and time. Imagine I won’t be the only one.

Tidser by name but sadly just Tiddler in terms of his credibility. If he was in a regular job it would be a case of failing the probation and being told to leave. Of course we dont expect Cook etc to admit that the young pup they headhunted and paid a bounty for is lacking the skills, experience and personal maturity to be managing a full time professional fitba club but thats how it kind of looks. It seems he needs an auld heid in the dugoout to dispense wisdom and tactical advice, at least until young Tid loses his baby teeth.

I thought we were poor against Ayr as well da_no_1. Created very little and felt a lot like the bounce was gone.
With Tidser I want him to do well, obviously, but I just don’t see what we are trying to do specifically. It’s all so toothless and despite seemingly working on game plans I don’t see one. The desire of the Raith players struck me last night as well, swarming over us, snapping into tackles etc. They had so much space at times. Some how the last two games have been worse than the two under McPake at those grounds. Something I didn’t think was possible.

I would imagine there will be a board meeting this weekend to discuss his future and I’d expect that he will be relieved of his duties. We can’t go on like this. The manner of the defeats at Hamilton, Falkirk and last night have sealed his fate.

I hope you’re right Raymie, we need to get someone else in even until end of season at least and give them 2 weeks to work with the squad before Ayr.
If Tidser was still to be in charge for the Ayr game, I’d fully expect a similar performance like last night as he appears to be determined to stick with playing this way.

It’s depressing as **** this that we are going to have to shell out more cash to replace another manager. He needs to go unfortunately. Not even sure who gets a tune out them. I wouldn’t want the job.

Let`s agree to disagree. No comparison between that night and some of the recent performances

If there’s a chance of Kettlewell, I’ll take it. If not, ask Lanza John to see the season out and see who we can get for the summer.
Tidser just not working. Hard to make a judgement on how good some of these players are when we’re playing as poorly as we are. I would say there’s a couple who are just not anywhere near the required level and one who’s become the best player in our team 🤷🏻♂️
But no, for me I’ve seen enough. Don’t think I’ll be back this season. I give up Saturday shifts to watch so I’d rather take the money than go along to try sit through that

It seriously brings into question , who actually decides on the criteria required by the next D.A.F.C manager , we don,t seem to go through an interview process but just seem to pluck a name out of a hat . quick question , how many of our last few managers are actually still in a managerial role ?.

Same NMC, often going to a game means turning down work and it’s hard to justify that at this point. I don’t think I’ll be at many until Tidser is gone.
