2 goal in first half an hour, we’ve not looked like scoring in our last 2 games.

Must be amazing having players who know how to put the ball in the net.. Airdrie will finish above us if we don’t change the manager. Couldn’t ask for a worse season with Falkirk flying in the league. Mad to think we finished above them in league one two years ago…

If the players think a new manager will turn things around and if they produce enough to stay up they might get a deal to stay you would think they would want Tidser out as soon as possible and that might be what they are going. Clearly with Tidser they already know they are finished here in the summer.
The players are playing like they are working their notice period.

I feel for the guy,he`s barely in the door and the fans choose to shout for his head instead of cheering the team on. It`s no wonder he looked dejected when the cameras were on him. It just renews my lack of faith in mankind, zero empathy going around.
On the other hand though, he saw our team before he took the job so if I was him I`d have passed on the job. Will those in charge seriously sack him after such a short time though? I can`t see it.
Even if he did get the sack, who else is out there that could get a tune out of this bent, broken and stringless guitar?
Our only hope is to somehow cling onto 9th because none of the league 1 teams in the play off places fill me with fear. Cove, Stenny and Alloa.
I know my words are meaningless as people on here have made up their minds but how about cheering on the team, being that 12th man instead of screaming for the firing squad.
I don`t think it matters who`s in charge, the vast majority of the players are not very good and clearly demoralised.
I guarantee that Tidser is regretting taking the job.

Dumbarton had a 15 point deduction along with Inverness.
Inverness be in promotion play offs if they hadn’t had the point deduction. Still possible for them to finish in promotion play offs.

That would be us 7 points ahead of them, 8 if you take goal difference into it.
Now if our `fans` can get behind the team instead of whining about a manager that will be here for the foreseeable future then maybe we can scrape enough points to avoid a play off final.

Kozma the fans have been getting behind the team but we’re getting nothing back in return.
We’re getting worse as each week goes by.
2 derby defeats on a row 1300+ fans at Falkirk never made a difference to performance and however many were there last night again had no effect on the performance. That’s just 2 games there are plenty like that.

The ‘fans’ have been more than patient this season. The majority of players and management deserve all the stick they get with what they’ve been serving up - as long as it stays on the football pitch. Flooding the team with crap from England has made us worse, rather than trying to bring in players from Scotland who understand the game here.
If you think our atmosphere is bad, we were well beaten by Hamilton who displayed a ‘Rankin Out’ banner at the game! Fans at Airdrie were beginning to turn on McCabe as well but he’s at least had the mentality to turn it around.
Our fans are not to blame in this downfall.

Wasn’t expecting to take anything from the Falkirk or Raith games (obviously expected better performances) so glad to see the results today fell in our favour.
Ayr do us a favour and beat Hamilton next week and Airdrie lose to Falkirk then we’re still in an ok position to get ourselves out of this mess.
Players need to realise this and roll their sleeves up.

A reprieve of sorts with Airdrie drawing and Hamilton losing.
But last night was not good. Several players seemed lost, not knowing what they were supposed to be doing in terms of shape or tactics. At this stage of the season, a team needs to run like a well-oiled machine to get over the finish line.

I understand that we were all eagerly watching the scores today and results were in favour for us. However, what matters most is not the performance of other teams, but rather our own focus on what we are currently unable to achieve, which is regrettably minimal.
The first action the club should undertake is to terminate the manager`s contract. The players do not seem to be playing for him, and he appears utterly bewildered in the dugout. We fail to have any tactical direction in his approach, leaving the players uncertain of their roles on the pitch. While the players are indeed accountable for the outcomes, it is ultimately the manager who bears the brunt of the criticism. He is responsible for selecting the team, tactics, and making decisions regarding substitutions, and he has consistently failed in these areas.
I do not see him recovering from this, and I anticipate the termination of his contract. We will have some clause that enables us to part ways with him for a predetermined sum. Kettlewell will be appointed, which would demonstrate ambition from the new owners and the club, potentially helping to win back the support of the fans. (If I keep thinking it, it will happen 😂)

Airdrie may have scored 3 but they`re still on the same amount of goals scored than us,plus they`ve let in 19 more. That`s effectively another point for us should it come down to it. We`ve also got a vastly superior goal difference compared to Hamilton.
Can anyone give an example or two of managers being sacked so soon after being appointed? He needs to suck a lemon and realise we can`t play the style of football he wants on our mudslide of a pitch. I gave him a chance but even this early on,his stubborn attitude has failed to win me over, and the demoralised look on his face last night just doesn`t do it for me.
There is still time to get out of this predicament we find ourselves in. One good win to install a bit of confidence for the remainder of the season. We`ve still to see Hampson in action due to injury. He might be the missing link in midfield we`ve been looking for. I`m just trying to look at the positives. As bad as we`ve been,it`s still in our own hands at the moment.
As for Kettlewell, do you really think he`d come here considering the abuse our young, newly appointed manager has been getting? I`d love to see it but it`s highly unlikely. Hopefully the powers that be realise they`ve made a terrible appointment, accept the financial loss by letting him go and jump on Kettlewell. Once again though, I cannae see it.

Airdrie have only lost 2 of their last 6 games. I would think their goal scoring over that period and defending is substantially better than ours, rather than comparing with the whole season.

I find it rather strange that Kettlewell has attended our last three matches. Surely, there must be something significant in that. He`s not there for the enjoyment of the beautiful football we showcase.
I don’t see a single win transforming our circumstances. We require a successive win, two on the bounce. Something we’ve not achieved this season. Should we achieve that, I see a significant shift in our momentum. However, I do not see this happening under Tidser`s leadership.

Who’s going outlast the other? Will Tidser make it to the season end and clear out the players who have downed tools and fight for Andy in the recruitment going forward or will the players see him out and hope the next manager is someone they fancy playing for?
Yes the tactics are poor but the best tactics in the world would be useless if the players have downed tools.
Look at rangers, the players are clearly better than the opposition but they effectively downed tools and very quickly the manager was out.

Currently sitting 8th, 5pts gained and 2 goals scored.
