I wonder why he is still here ? He’s as much of the problem as Tidser was in my humble opinion. If and when a new guy comes in, they will want their own assistant.

He’s a coach so he’ll do what the manager says, whoever that may be. He fulfills a role and it saves us paying off another contract. As to whether he’s a problem, I’ve no idea.

I think whoever comes in will be told to work with him to save us money. His comments after Raith suggested he didn`t exactly believe in the tactics

I believe he would be an asset as a coach for whoever our new manager will be.

Why would you believe that? He’s presided over the worst set of results and performances in recent memory. Maybe it’s his experience at Musselburgh and Kelty
Really genuinely intrigued on how you think that?

Super John was also there, should he go too?
As with most things on here, we don`t know the full extent of his role and how much input he had. He might go as soon as a new head coach is appointed or he might stay and work with him.
He was Kevin Thomson`s assistant at Kelty before Tidser was appointed. He and Tidser only worked together for 23 months (Kelty then with us).

To be fair, he`s presided over a run of 2 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats in 8 league games.
You`d have to have limited recall to be calling that the worst set of results in recent memory.

Only people with blinkered eyes would call him super John. He’s never managed a club either but he should go back to the job he’s qualified and employed to do. He presided over 1 win in 3 games, albeit a good away performance.

A good away performance!
It was an exceptional away performance following a 3-3 draw with the champions elect at their ground. He lost to a very good Ayr utd
He got more than a quarter of our total goals over 29 games in those first two games.
Some folk wouldn`t be content if they won the lottery and found the secret to eternal youth.

The game at Falkirk was at home. I think the best job he did was to play to the strengths of the squad. Doesn`t mean you will automatically win the games though.
Keeping MacDonald makes sense as it would cost further money to sack him and his job is to assist the manager in charge, not to make the decisions.
