I`m going to be in Cologne for a music festival in April and thought I would try get along to the Koln v Hertha game on Sunday the 6th.
Any advice on getting a ticket would be greatly appreciated. I believe Koln home matches sell out quite quickly.

Hope you get one mate, cos it`s a fantastic stadium. Brilliant city with great folk. Was lucky to have went to the Scotland v Switzerland game in Köln. Magical.
I`ve got a mate, who stays in Köln, he`s a BVB fan, but he might have some idea about getting a ticket. Just the one, yeah?

Off to watch Bayern giving Celtic a lesson on Tuesday. Flight back on Saturday is a bit neat for the QP game 😡

Looks like you have good advice on getting tickets so I won`t add anything on that front. What I would say is the 2 bundesliga fixtures won`t be set for April yet so will all be listed as Sunday.
The games get moved to Friday, Saturday or Sunday. It`s normally about 50/50 between Sat and Sun. Cologne v Hertha is obviously a big candidate for tv

Not to piggy back on someone else’s post but the answers seemed knowledgable and helpful.
I’m going to Hamburg early March (14th) and St Pauli are at home. Any ideas / help on getting two tickets to the match.

St Pauli tickets almost never go on public sale. You can register on their site and keep watching it for the dates of public sales, but your chances are very small on getting a home ticket from them.
Your best option for getting tickets in advance is probably registering on the away teams site and trying to get for the away end, but I would check out the away sections at the stadium as you might not want to be jammed in with the Ultras.
I once did Dortmund as a ticket/hotel package, some German travel agents might offer that. Or overpay on Viagogo
If you are in Hamburg anyway, you may get tickets outside the ground. Have seen that at many games I've been to

Actually just noticed it`s against Hoffenheim. I would steer clear of the away end of that game.

Had a walk up to the stadium on the night of the game hoping to see if anyone selling tickets.
Actually ended up getting two from the ticket office. Was in the family stand but didn’t bother us. Would try that again.
