Yeah I think free agents are fine to sign and play.
Partick signed Jakubiak in February and I’m sure Morton signed a striker too.

I may be wrong but I think it`s OK if the player was free at the end of the previous window i.e. if a player was released now he couldn`t sign for anyone until the next window.

You can’t seriously be questioning why he’d want to bring in Wanyama ahead of what we have? He’s a million times better than anything we have in midfield.
Otoo and Wanyama will be dynamite in the middle of the park.
Chalmers, Clay, Hamilton will all be away next season as it stands, he’s looking ahead.

Chalmers and Clay haven’t played for weeks and are miles off it.

Was wandering why nobody signed victor in January? Seemed to have fallen out of favour at Montreal and was surprised to find he went there when he was 28 which seems early when he surely had better options after spurs?
Not complaining mind! If he does well and helps us out of a spot this season I can’t see us being able to keep him but great to see a player who has played at the level he had wearing a pars shirt.

We have almost weekly discussions on here about players we’ve signed. Whats wrong with discussing this one too? As has been already mentioned he’s not played in a while. I’m sure he’ll bring his own experience to the team and hope it brings success even just in the short term.

Taylor-Clarke, Oakley-Boothe were midfielders brought in during Winter Window.
Clay, Chalmers, Hammy play in midfield.
None of the above mentioned compare in the slightest a to Wanyama, he is miles ahead of them.
I can understand questioning players we’ve never heard of coming in, but to question why we have signed Wanyama is ludacris.

There`s a difference between saying there is talent within the squad and saying we have a talented squad. The reality is majority of the squad aren't good enough hence where we are where we are. I`ve no doubt any signing Lennon makes will be an upgrade on what we already have here so he can sign as many ex Celtic players as he wants if it keeps us up.

I’d never heard of Wanyama before today. I probably should have said that earlier.
My downfall I guess 😔 is just being interested in the Pars and our own league teams and the lower divisions. I don’t watch CL or anything like that.
My phone was pinging off the hook today after I finished work and most of the messages were “Mad signing!” so I decided to google and ask friends about him.
I thought at first he was a striker with all the excitement. I’ve been reliably informed he’s a defensive midfielder (but I’ve also read his stats online and he’s bagged a few goals in his time, too). I can see why the club have signed him.
In a previous post (at the foot) I’ve written that I hope he can help and do something for us even in the short term. No idea why some folk are ignoring this 🤷♀️

A new manager coming into a new side struggling at foot of table isn’t going to come in and say anything negative to the press about them!

Dont think so as wasn’t a free agent at the close of the transfer window. But not entirely sure on the protocols for that.
