What a week it’s been, a lot of media attention on us as a, new manager, new signing. I think it will be all eyes on Somerset park today.
Ayr will be going into this with a lot of uncertainty, we haven’t played for two weeks and with NL and his new regime at the helm Ayr won’t know what to expect from us, formation, style of play, team selection, they haven’t been able to watch us since the Raith game. They won’t have a game plan as such ( yes I know every team has a game plan) but they won’t know how to set up against us, all they know is we have has a lot of attention this week and by the looks of things the new owners are willing to put their money where their mouth is, they know our tails will be up the players must have a confidence boost with all the activity shown in the last few days, all Ayr will know is we will come at them with our tails up.
We definitely shouldn’t fear Ayr today and get right at them and rattle their cages a wee bit,
No matter what happens today it will be very interesting and if we can get a win and Hamilton get beat, that should give us the confidence we need to get up that league.
Anyway ticket bought, straight they’re after work. COYP

I watched the second half of Ayr - Hamilton last week and Hamilton could’ve been 2 or 3 up at one point. Ayr offered very little apart from a last minute tap in, which I was so thankful for.
Regarding today this is the most optimistic away game I’ve been to in months. I genuinely believe we will have enough today to get a result.

Nope, he shouldn’t, but he probably will. Should be suspended pending investigation/court hearings. Folk say innocent until proven guilty, but suspension with pay is what should happen with the seriousness of the case.
Good point regarding Ayr having to go into this a bit blind as to how we will set up - hopefully leads to us winning!

Personally I don’t think Bene should play, he should be suspended on pay until an outcome, this shows the club won’t put up with players that do silly enough actions to put themselves in these positions, we are a community club and should be dealing with players actions especially criminal ones quickly and efficiently

I`m not getting caught up in all this ultra enthusiasm. A point would be great today .
Hope to see a much more attacking side , but also realise that "Rome wasn`t built in a day "
A steady improvement from now until the end of the season ought to see us safe . Then let`s see what next season brings .

Hamilton went there last week and created enough to win that match, Ayr were very poor.
I see no reason, given the lift the place has had recently, as to why we can’t go there and get a result.

Not sure why so many people feel that Benny should be hung drawn and quartered. How many people on this site have had an altercation that led to fisty cuffs………he gives his all for us so some of the opinions on here are farcical around suspending him etc etc…….we are fighting relegation and need our best players and benny alongside a few other older heads are hopefully hurting and more than likely frustrated at how ***** this season has been. Let’s see his fighting spirit on the park today and pick up 3 points and allow the criminal justice system to run its course and then and only then you can talk about suspending somebody!

Innocent until proven guilty but the charge isn`t for "fisty cuffs". Regardless, no-one knows who did what or what the circumstances so it`s business as usual until it`s heard in court.

Many employers would suspend somebody in these circumstances pending the outcome of any court proceedings.
Regardless of having a previous conviction for assault.

Yes they would for the simple reason that in this country you are innocent until proven guilty.

This. We as a club should be firmly behind our players until they`ve been proven guilty.
I don`t know the details of what happened but if I was accused of something and knew I was innocent I would be very upset if my employer showed no faith in me. Benefit of the doubt and all that.
Only after being proven guilty should the employer take any action.
Pars fan.

Mens tennis fan.
Alternative rock fan.
Not a fan of much else.
