Slowing it down it did look like the Ayr defender caught Young on the foot in the box. Who knows what might have happened had a penalty been given and been converted to give us a lead.

That`s the way luck flows when you`re at the bottom of the league. Hopefully it`s not a bad injury as I feel that he just needs one goal to get going.

Gotta love the chuckle from Lenny when wanyama was mentioned, at least he found it funny!

Fair assessment of the game, devoid of quality and belief and making individual and unforced errors constantly.

Lennons interview and assessment were fair. He’s not hitting the panic button by the sounds, he will know the main games we need to win are still to come. Anyone who thought he was going to turn this team into a solid unit within a week is delusional

No one expected a big turnaround cfad, but they did expect some small improvements and perhaps a bit more belief and fight. The team that Lenny picked blew that away immediately.

That Ayr team scraped a point of Hamilton the week before and coasted past us without us laying a glove on them.

Nope, not the case. Lots were counting their chickens the moment he signed and folk like you can`t wait to slaughter him after 1 game. All very predictable unfortunately.
Personally I wouldn`t have selected at least a couple that started yesterday but guess what? - he has to work with the squad he has.
None of us like it but improvements have to start somewhere and it might be a few weeks before there are signs. Hopefully he can do enough with them to scrape enough points to stay up but ffs give him a chance.
As for Ayr, you are judging them based on 1 game too. How very selective of you.

Maybe he had a few questions he needed answered. He could afford to drop points where it was expected but knows the Hamilton, Airdrie, and QP games are vital. He has two "Dead rubbers v Ayr and Livi" to get it sorted out, then win the last 4.

Livi and QP will be tired after the cup final today. Pity it doesn`t look like going to extra time.
They could drop points on Wednesday

What question was he needing answered on wanyama getting on the park with clay on the bench?

The questions that were answered yesterday have been answered numerous times this season by 2 other managers.

Was hoping for a point yesterday or at least to be in the game last 20 to have a go and perhaps score a goal, there was very little different from under Tidser, including bene selling the 2nd by doing exactly as instructed by Tidser!

Livvy will be fired up, Parrott. They strolled that game today.

So the manager is to blame for the club captain with hundreds of senior appearances not being able to complete an obvious and simple 10 yard pass? The attempted pass was absolutely nothing to do with managerial systems, styles or tactics. It was a really bad attempt at a simple pass.

I honestly think you`re on the wind-up now.

That Ayr team have the best home record in the league (whilst we have the 2nd worst away record).

You literally cant wait to get on the backs of people eh? Did you genuinely think that we should have gone there and coasted against them? Despite you claiming all season the players aren’t good enough? Your hypocrisy is rife 😂

In fairness to Berkey i don`t think it`s unreasonable to expect a better performance from the players. The fact we didn`t get one probably further strengthens the theory these players just simply aren`t good enough for this level. As a club we want to be making a go at the top 4 I earlier said 4 players maybe good enough I don`t even think we have 4 that would get into any team inside the top 4. We need a complete rebuild as we aren`t good enough at the moment.

c'mon the pars

Exactly cammy, if you can’t show a bit more fight in lenny’s first game what makes us think they will show it in the 2nd and third?

Didn’t feel like the new manager clean slate type thing. If anything wanyama getting on will have cemented some players minds that there’s nothing worth playing for. How must the likes of clay felt?
