 One of the Lowest Scoring Teams in Britain

Out of the top 7 leagues in England and top 5 in Scotland we are joint lowest scorers with Lossiemouth on 27.

I’d be interest to see how many chances we’ve actually created this season compared to the rest of the league.

What an embarrassment.

Just noticed Leicester and Southampton have less than us but not really comparable is it.

Falkirk have 66 this season alone and we have a combined total of 70 for the last 2 seasons in Championship.

Ok, so what is the point of this post?

It`s all comparable, because each team is at the level on merit.

We all know we don`t score many, without Kane we don`t score at all.you can have as many shots you like, but if none of the other players know how to score, and none of them have any track record of scoring , we ain`t scoring -we know this.

The only league you can discount is the Highland League due to average goals being massively above other leagues, and wider disparities due to no relegation, budget etc. the other leagues have relegation/promotion which levels it out more.
