According to my Fotmob app, St Johnstone beat Celtic yesterday while enjoying just 20% possession. I wonder if this is a record in the modern era since such stats have been measured.
Not your average Sunday League player.

Celtic hold the Champions League record beating Barca with 16%. I recall Japan winning a game at the World Cup with very little possession too.

Think that one is an urban myth.
The stats graphic was photo shopped and has grown arms and legs over the years to make Celtic`s triumph look even more impressive.

That`s strange, I seem to remember when Ancelotti (I think?) real tanked Guardiolas Bayern 4-0 it was about 20% , vaguely remember watching and thinking (hoping!!!!) it was the end of possession football, Guardiola didn`t have billions to spunk at Bayern, so it didn`t work.
Real, just let Bayern pointlessly pass it, whacked them before they got to the half way line and scored. Repeatedly.
