If that’s the case then I’d imagine he’ll be out for the season now.

Went down without anyone near him and looks like a really bad knee injury apparently.

So, Lewis McCann and Connor Young both out. Who will Lenny partner with Kane now? Yeboah? Cooper?

I assume this happened in training?

If KRH is back and fit he could play in the right with Todd on the left and Kane up top.

Or perhaps Cooper playing in behind Kane with Todd, 2 number 10s.

I think Lennon will stick to a consistent team where possible to simplify things and in this case it`ll be Yeboah (who was perfectly fine on Saturday) in his place. Could be the making of him.

McCann will be a big loss as he plays well with Kane. Yeboah so far has only been effective when coming off the bench due to his pace. Personally I’d avoid starting him. If McCann is out for Saturday I’d rather see Wotherspoon and Todd playing just behind Kane.

Certainly luck is not going to help us stay up. Two bad injuries to our already thin on the ground forward options and and our main striker has to be game time managed.

Noticed wotherspoon was back for queens game so would like to see him come in and maybe play a bit further forward.

Yeboah from the start gives you the fear, he rarely completes a pass or does anything creative with the ball, he’s fine to put on in last 20 when you trying to protect a lead by closing down players though.

Yeboah has started 7 league games for us and contributed absolutely nothing.

He’s looked ok when coming on and running at tired defences and winning free kicks etc….. but that’s about it.

I’d worry if he was to partner Kane tbh, McCann at least gets the ball into dangerous areas and creates chances, how many times heave we seen him whip the ball in low form the right and it leads to a goal.

Yeboahs decision making is atrocious, I can recall 5 or 6 moments he could’ve slipped in fellow strikers and possibly lead to goals but he hasn’t.

I’d go for Kane Richie Hosler instead. He likes taking on defenders and can cross a decent ball.

Yeboa`s 18. You would hope NL would be working with him to improve his game. He looked more focussed in his sub appearance on Saturday than he had done in previous appearances.

McCann will become indispensable now that he`s not available!

That`s the most positive post I`ve seen about McCann in ages. It`s almost a eulogy - quite appropriate, given we`re unlikely to see him in a Pars top this season. ☹️
Here`s hoping whoever comes in for him steps up and makes us proud of his contribution and gets us up the table. 🤞

He’ll be a loss. No doubt about that.

If Kane gets injured now it’s Yeboah and O’Halloran up top!

Yeboah needs to learn to pass- there’s been a fair few times he could’ve passed to someone in a better position around the box but he’s decided to take the shot that wasn’t on! He’d actually be ok if he could do that

See to be fair, I think O’Halloran played well under Tidser, and looked like a different player to the one we saw last season. I wouldn’t be against him getting the opportunity 🙈

What about Wanyama. He took up some very forward positions in his short stint last Saturday. He wouldn`t have the same energy levels as McCann but maybe his hold up play and close ball control skills could fashion an opening or two.

Smoking crack if we think big Victor will be anything but a short cameo again, personally anyway.

Wanyama will surely be with next season in mind, a fitter version would stroll this league.

I agree with above. He was brought in on a short term contract and it hasn`t worked (although that could change in the last couple of games and potential playoff).

No way can we afford him for a whole season. On top of that, he`s almost 50 years old 😆.

I`ve always fancied O`Halloran as a number 10
Wouldn`t be against Andrew Tod either
Wanyama ...I`m not convinced he would be here next year - but I do suspect our owners/sponsors will bolster the squad with a couple of big money weekly wage players

If wanyama is beyond his best, and unlikely to sign for a top club, he might just finish his career with his old pal.
He doesnt need the money, he might just enjoy doing something for a sleeping giant.

Since we have adopted the long ball game, we need a big lad up front for Tobi to aim at. Lewis is the obvious target man. If he isn`t fit to play, Chris Kane being shorter in stature, doesn`t fit the bill for that. Andrew Tod, to me, just doesn`t look robust enough to fulfill that role. If McCann is ruled out maybe the long ball game should be rethought for the Thistle game.

He`s a perfect example of players we seem to sign. After his first game I thought we have a real player here who can take a man on and if we can work on his delivery he will be a brilliant wide player. Since then he hasn`t taken a player on and gets stood up by the full back and either passes it off to the full back or centre mid around the half way line and hasn`t really been seen much since.

Hopefully that was him following the manager`s instructions and Lennon can get him taking on a man and putting in a good delivery if so he would fill the McCann role best.

c'mon the pars

Paralex while I get what your trying to say, it won’t happen.

We have to play the long ball game at home because the pitch is terrible. At this stage of the season we aren’t going to start to try and play a passing game at home.

If McCann is out then I fully expect us to use the same tactics.

I think the comment relates to previous suggestions that the Kenyan government wasn`t exactly robust in its checks and paperwork so he perhaps may be a bit older but faked his age.

This was the story about Wanyama`s brother. All his brother`s retired from football relatively young and Victor was `15` when he made his international debut. There could be someting in it but given what happened to those questioning his brother`s age I might give him the benefit of the doubt!
