Great interview with big Dunc. Not really heard him talk at this length, really honest and some great stories.

His story about the burglars was typical Dunc. One got away but “I filled the other in”
Very understandable as he had a 3 month daughter upstairs with his wife.

Wasn’t sure whether to phone his pals or the police 😂

Refusing to talk to the media or press for 25+ years makes it a lot more intriguing and still a bit of a novelty value to hear him now.

Started listening this morning and will definitely go back to it.

Interesting him saying that Newcastle made an offer for Rooney. How different things might have been.

The bit where he was saying all his wife heard was "Whack Whack Whack" and shouted down "Stop it you`ll kill him!"

I saw this video a few years ago showing Dunc working the heavy bag...yeah I wouldn`t wanna be hit by him once.

Long time ago now but from memory i think Ferguson said he would have given him another year at Everton to develop. Newcastle and i think Chelsea than had bids accepted so Man Utd had to get involved then or risk missing out.

Vaguely related but the Jimmy Bullard episode with Colin Montgomerie is worth a watch.

The last two people i would imagine doing content together but it`s actually very good and Monty comes across pretty well despite being in full Alan Partridge mode at times. Would never in a million years have him down as a fotball fan but he's pretty clued up and knowledgeable on Leeds in particular.
