Hamilton Accies - the fall out

Who would be a footballer ...

1% from youth go (made up figure- I don`t know) on to get a professional contract.

A small % make first team debuts and a tiny % get to play at a top level.

The rest play for average wage or slightly better or worse for limited years for their passion.

When things go wrong like Hamilton Accies they don`t get paid their average wages on time.

Yet get slated online in forums, get dogs abuse at games, have their family shouted at and have weekly pressure to get into the first team for a club who could drop you at the end of a short contract.

I think I would pi$$ myself if given the chance to take a penalty.

Hats off to the (our) McCann`s, Chalmers, O`Halloran`s and Mehmet`s of this world.

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother`s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? Matthew 7:3-6

PS I fully expect someone to have a pop for quoting The Word but that`s cool. At least I don`t have 10% of the 7600 at the Hamilton game getting on my back .)

Can`t beat hearing The Word being quoted, great programme. Terry Christian and Danni Behr were great hosts on that

Remember the section `I`d do anything to get on tv`? The one with the young man, the granny sans falsers and 2 tongues. Eesh.

I also remember when The Smashing Pumpkins done a legendary hard distortion rock version of Disarm (an amazing acoustic song). Phenomenal.

Can a song be described as acoustic when it`s played on electric guitar in the original recording?
