Strange timing. I wonder if Falkirk were happy with that.

Surely not. Surely any man with any character and professionalism about him whatsoever would have just said to any potential suitors, "I`m sorry, as you know we have our biggest game in years in 2 days time. I will be interested in the job and hearing what you have to say but not until after that game has taken place. I`ve got a job to do this week that needs my full attention". You would think that response would have been acceptable to any potential employer

All that aside. I don`t think he`s got the chops for that job, and I think most, if not all, jambo fans would agree.

Think if they were to go for someone in Scotland it would have been McInnes in my opinion

Every Hearts fan I know does not want him anywhere near Tynecastle

That’s who they should go for IMHO, however I’d think he’d be in the conversation to replace Steve Clarke at the end of this campaign

Undoubtly mcglynn is a bawbag but he’s earned this chance if it comes. His teams are always committed and do enough of the dirty stuff as well as no shortage of ability. He knows the attributes he’s looking for when signings players.
It’s a massive job compared to Falkirk though, he’ll be relying on others for signing players next year unless he hits the ground running and it’s a massive step up in terms of the profile and coaching expected etc.
Would be interesting to see how he gets on. Really screws falkirk over too.
